Mail them back to Nintendo and they were fixed in 4 days free. New release of the controls don't have issues. So if u buy them now it will work flawlessly. I prefer the pro controller but I want the ability to split the contilller for two players. So I got this. Love them.

2nd replacement set

(It’s a good replacement for my original joycons. I wish they’d last longer. It’s very expensive but there are no other options. At least I get to choose new colors.)

Always a good idea to have an extra set of controllers when you have guests over and want to play a multiplayer game. The buttons were a bit more stiff on this than the ones that came with the Switch for some reason.

Bright & Fun (scratch easily)

The colors are bright and fun. My wife was thrilled when I gave them to her. The only downside is the finish seems to scratch fairly easily.
