These seem to be put together a bit better than the original pair. Hoping they will last four years! :)

I purchased these as a replacement to our original remotes . The original ones that came out the switch were worn out after 2 years. They had a long live with 2 kids playing daily

Communication error

With respect to the devices, they have had communications issues with the system. They lose the connection and take a 1/2 second to second to reestablish the connection. The fraction can be critical in game play. I plan to exchange. I have had no issues with the joy cons that came with my system, so it's an issue with this set.
