They can feel a bit small after hours of play on one Joy-Con. They are not incredibly fragile but they also don't feel anywhere near as resilient as a GameCube controller. The price is fair but shocking for one pretty decent controller that converts into two decent controllers. All that said, they are the conduit between you and an exciting new landscape in gaming via the Switch. Amazing hand feel, havent had a single "de-syncing" issue. Wear the straps, be aware of your surroundings. You know that kid is a little slow, maybe coach them along the way before blindly letting them have at it. As that is what will happen, they will have at it. You, and they will be laughing consistently and thoroughly. These things are lit. Enjoy.

I’ve had to buy three sets of these wireless controllers. The joysticks wear out and are extremely poor quality. They are not built to last —they are built to wear out so that the user must buy new ones.

Open box excellent condition; to me means ZERO pieces are broken... yet I received broken pieces? Excellent condition.. haha what a joke.. would appreciate some compensation for this horrible classification of “excellent”.

At first, I was skeptical about whether joy cons would be too small to use on adult hands. After using them for one day, I now love the way they feel in the hand. it is so easy to play with just one joy con and the other to have a friend play with you.

They already have Joycon drift and I haven't even owned them for a month yet! Can't return because of COVID-19 basically out 80 dollars :(.

From the time we purchased these and gave them to my son for his birthday, we had problems with them. They did not always work well and now they have died completely. Intend to contact Nintendo to see what can be done.

Two months in and the controllers aren't falling off, the controls haven't broken and there's no drift. So far so good.

Doesn’t work , I get it its my fault for trusting open box but best I thought I could trust Best Buy for having tested working fine

Bought these to replace the originalbjoycons that started to drift. These started drifting withing a few days and very slow gameplay (animal crossing)

The left Joy con started going crazy a few days in. Nintendo needs to really figure this out because for the price the quality should be a lot better.

Second set of controllers which work decently with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for 4 player. The joycons are small and I wouldn't want to play with a single one for hours but for quick multiplayer games they are nice.

I bought them thinking they would be brand new and they appeared to be just that. However the robots stopped working after 5 uses if that.

Since I got the Neon Switch I opted for the red/blue extra set of joy-con controllers. Since these are opposite of the Neon Switch I have a complete set of just blue and just red if I so choose to have that set up. The colors pop so well and I like having the option of having both controllers be blue or red. I also have yet to have any issues with the controllers de-syncing or not working.

This is the 4th remote, best buy was great since I had the replacement but still had to pay for replacement's protection.

If anyone has owned a Switch for a while then you know the joy cons don't last. Very disappointed with Nintendo.

These joy cons, not sure if its a Nintendo defect, but they keep breaking. This is the fourth pair I bought.
