These controllers are great! I love the fact that they’re not the typical grey or blue/red combo that come with the unit.

Great addition for mutiplayer games. The color of each controller even shows on the screen making identifying each player easier.

Love the Nintendo branded controllers much better than third party. Especially when able to get at a discount.

Awesome product worked out good originals were broke

This is a must purchase for any Switch owner. It's expensive, but it's a huge upgrade from the nunchuck day of the Wii. Unlike the nunchuck, both side of the controllers can be used independently and you don't have to worry about the cable in between. On games that only require one joycon, each player can grab one to play. They are not as durable as the Wii controller so make sure you get the protective cover for them.

The controllers work well with my Nintendo machine. Very comfortable on the hands. Many color combinations to choose from.

The switch is such a great console, in order to play 4 player or even change up the colors of your switch, i recommend these.

Very durable cool looking my kid loves em. A little pricey but there are so many games for these its worth it.

These are the basic, OEM Nintendo JoyCons and they work just as well as you would expect. Nintendo hardware is usually pretty premium with good quality materials and durable manufacturing - these controllers are no exception. I got my Switch with the grey controllers so no confusion adding an extra red/blue set, but even if you bought the red/blue with your Switch it's nice that these are the opposite colors (Red=L; Blue=R) than what was packaged with the console.

Nintendo doesn't get enough credit for their ingenuity. They may not be considered mainstream in today's gaming world, but that's doesn't stop their competitors from trying to follow in their foot steps and failing. Xbox had the kinect which has been mostly scrapped and the Playstation had the move which has been resurrected thanks to VR. The JoyCons are essentially the next generation Wii mote and they are fantastic. I've heard complaints above size, but with my larger hands they still seem to fit just fine.

An extra set is nice especially for some games. The price is steep, add in the cost of a separate charger and you are in the ouch zone. Quality seems good and the joy cons work well. Hopefully we will see more games take advantage of their abilities soon.

These joysticks start getting drift and becoming non responsive way faster than any other controllers I’ve had from different consoles. Playing crash bandicoot is difficult because I don’t feel they are as sensitive as PS4 controllers. For the price point, it seems like we are getting ripped off here. The only good thing is that you can send them in for repair which Nintendo does very quickly in my opinion. I like that they offer some fun colors in these and that they are very easy to use. I do wish they made bigger ones. I’m pretty small (5’2) and sometimes my hands cramp up I’ve I’m playing animal crossing for too many hours. Overall, I’ve owned a switch for almost 5 years and I’ve gone through 3 pairs and had them repaired through Nintendo. This is my fourth pair so we’ll see how long it lasts before needing repair. Each pair I’ve purchased previously has ended up with drift issues. You’ll need these controllers because you can’t play your switch without them but they’re not great and I wish Nintendo would release something way better but oh well.

These controllers work exactly as they should. Great to have a second pair to play with the kids.

Good controllers don’t settle for anything less…..

I wasn't sure if we needed to get another set of joy cons for our newly purchases Switch. I'm glad we did. I think it's possible to play games with just 1 joy con but it seems you can do more with 2 joy cons used on 1 game. You can charge them on the switch or you can pick up a joy con charger. We are just using the switch as a charging station as we don't drain the batteries when we play (limiting our playing time to about 1 hr/day). The switch batteries seem to last quite a long time.
