I was hoping for a darker red but I'm still happy with the quality of the Joy-Cons. I wanted a new set since my stock left Joy-Con analog stick would spaz out and it's no longer in warranty. These controllers are great but expensive.

I think they are expensive for such small joy cons but they are great build quality and easy to set up and use.
