I think most people buy extra controller to facilitate multi-player games rather than just getting new colors for the console.

These were perfect, now we have enough to play with friends when they come over even if one of us takes our console to work. Beyond being a color to differentiate from the others, I simply love it. The other options are too plain for me.

Easily broken

It seems that the left analog stick easily breaks. Read the forums. Still a must with the switch, just get the Geek Squad with them.
