Reluctantly purchased, but happy with them

I preordered my Grey Joy-Con Switch on January 13th as soon as Best Buy started taking orders, and picked my unit up at the midnight launch of my local Best Buy store. Myself and others who preordered were allowed into the store early and when I got to the counter, I asked if I could switch my Gray Switch for the Neon Switch. I was told I could not do this, which really didn't make sense as the store had dozens more units available to customers who did not preorder. The Joy-Cons work great, but I would have appreciated Best Buy not making me spend $70 to get the color of controller I wanted.

Nice having an extra set for 4 player action in Mario-Kart even though my kids will never be able to beat me, haha! Also nice to have extra around in case the other goes low on battery. Only thing I don't like about these is the price, but what can you do, right?
