Not Necessarily Red

Nintendo seems to forgotten what the color Red looks like. Not that it's a big issues, but the Red joy-con seems to be a neon coral color or showing more of an orange hue. However, I've always wanted the multi color controllers for my Switch and now I have them. The buttons work well and the add-on bumpers to extend the L/R triggers slid smoothly into place. However do be cautious with any excessive oil or hand sweat when playing with these joy-cons the matte texture badly shows those interactions.

high price, great quality

They are prohibitively expensive otherwise I would buy more of them to accessorize and have extra for friends. Also having a model with a D-pad as opposed to the four directional buttons on Joy-Con (L) would be great

A must have, but a bit pricey
