I have purchased the Nintendo brand wheel and a generic brand and by far, the Nintendo brand is more reliable. When pushing the triggers on the wheel, it works far better on the Nintendo brand, where the triggers do not appear to always hit the buttons on the joycon

Not really necessary for the racing games, and the controller doesn't really seem like it fits great but I assume that's because it's made from hard plastic, may be better if the insert part was silicon.

I'd rather use the joycons with the straps, so much easier.

These wheels are a much needed attachment as the joycons are difficult to hold without them. One of the wheel worked very well. The 2nd one has issues when trying to click the back right button. Seems to be a manufacturing flaw and the joycon is fine. Otherwise works great

These wheels are to small for adults work better for children. I understand the controlers are much smaller. I liked the ones from the wii better. Sometimes I have trouble with the controler connecting with the wheel.

I thought these were just for the feel and I didn't think turning the wheel actually used the motion sensors of the joy con.It really works on a game like mario kart.You have to get used to it if you were using the joy con.My little girls like it.Fun.

The joy cons themselves can be frustrating to deal with. Eapecially with multiplayer. Even more so with Mario Kart. These wheels help with the horrible L and R buttons and also help people who arent rabid players, players that just wanna have fun.

These work great for both joy-con controllers. I have a small 2-year-old boy and this makes the joy-con easier to hold and also more fun for him to drive the cars in Mario Kart like a real car. I would recommend for a fun spin on gameplay.

These wheels just dont feel that great in my hands while playing. The nintendo wheels for the wii u remotes where better... maybe they had more weight but they also felt bigger. These are still good and work excellent, just not what I wanted them to be.

I prefer the wheels that were made for the Wii. These steering wheels are a little small for adult hands, but probably better for kids. The price is a bit high considering they are completely plastic.

Took a little getting used to to used the wheel, definitely not necessary to play the game but adds a fun element. Pretty small so anyone with big hands seems to have a little harder time.

Highly recommended if you are using the Switch's game pads as remotes for the Mario Kart game. Playing without these will make your hands/fingers hurt even if you have little hands. Once I got these, I am able to play comfortably.

I like the wheels for the Wii, I also like these but they are much smaller. My wife enjoys them more (she has smaller hands). I like them for the larger trigger buttons on back but I do not use the motion control. It does give you more to grip.

Makes Mario Kart even more fun. I would give it five stars, but you have to make sure you line up SR/SL before you play, sometimes they misalign and won’t work. No big deal if you remember to check before the green flag!

In theory the steering wheel kit for Mario Kart was a good idea but the kids don't use it. They just use the remote controls. It works fine but just not being used.

I’ve been using wireless wheels since the wii. Always makes it feel a little more immersive when playing. It takes a while to get use to the small controls. Still wishing I could use gc controllers.

I say a must have because i had these for when the wii first came out and it is so fun to use when using mario go kart bought this as a gift for my kids and i know they are going to have so much fun

I also purchased another brand wheel for the joy con and have been more impressed with the Nintendo brand. This is the only brand that has a wide enough piece to hit the joy con when pressing the triggers in the wheel.

These are ok. The built quality is very good and they do look really good. But as you might of read in other comments the shoulder buttons travel is a bit too much than it should be.
