Compared to a new controller, these are cheap. Which is nice, since they're basically useless. Not needed at all to play racing games, or even add to the experience.

too small to be useful. My kids prefer to play mario kart with out these. Total waste

Before purchase though this could be used to actually "steer" in driving games. Essentially it just holds the controller.

Bought for my little girl but she didn’t use it much, she prefers the other control that came with the game station.

We were told that this would turn the car just like a steering wheel. Not the case.

These are just two little plastic wheels into which one slides the controller. It is unneeded and generally most of the neighborhood kids don't bother even using them. So, it is a waste of money. It adds nothing to the game play.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, these just seem to hold the controller. I was disappointed to find it didn't have the same functionality as the Wii steering wheels - still have to use the same control functions with or without the wheels.

I think these are garbage and does it really adds nothing to the experience and if anything it makes it hard to steer while playing the game

Its a pain to put the little controlers in and the kids find it easier to play without the steering wheel.

Well I bought this for my 14 yr old son and it's very hard to play with rather use controller

You don’t need these to play the game. Adds a cool element to it but not needed

I fell in love with these the moment i put the joy-con in them! Not sure what some of the fuss about missing drifts is, because I literally have never had this issue. This device makes it so much easier to use horizontal joy-cons that I will use them on ANY game that splits them apart. The huge triggers in the back make it impossible to miss the SL and SR buttons, and although they do have a decent amount of travel, I still never have any issues. Like I stated above, this product will be great for any game you will play with horizontal joy-cons! Not just Mario Kart

I bought these wheels for use with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on my Switch. Very surprised to find that this official Nintendo product had a very serious flaw: The triggers have to be pushed very far to hit the buttons (SL and SR). It doesnt sound like that big of a deal, but it's VERY distracting and results in lots of missed button pushes. That'll cause missed item use, missed power slides, etc. And if you're holding a item behind you with the Left trigger, its easy to accidentally let up the pressure just a SMALL amount and cause the item to be release. It's not good. Nintendo usually doesn't have problems like this, but I was quite disappointed with this product. There are much better options out there if you keep looking. I will be returning these to Best Buy today, as I have already found a much better 3rd party wheel for my switch.

I like the fact it helps you hold the joystick better when holding it side ways , plus the price not bad for two of them

Picked this up along with Mario Kart 8 since it was onsale for $15 and I'm loving them. It comes with TWO wheels and the switch controls snap in perfectly. There is also two big responsive buttons on the back. It also provides a slightly larger control to hold on to and is much more comfortable to use if you're planning on playing Mario Kart for more than a few quick races. My 5 year old also had zero troubles using it.

These wheels have a nice feel with the joy cons attached. It makes playing Mario Kart a lot more comfortable for those who like to play with the motion controls as well as for those who don't since the trigger buttons are easier to press. Overall this is a great product to get.
