If you've ever played even one Yakuza games, then you've played Judgment before. No, it's really that simple. It is the exact same series, the exact same graphics, the exact same in-game city, the exact same everything, except they painted over it with a fun if less entertaining private investigator pastiche. So, why then buy this game? A good question. My advice? By one of the Yakuza games instead. Yakuza Zero is a great starting-off point, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Judgment has its qualities, including one of the best stories I've played in years, but ultimately it falls short of the high entertainment, sleaze, hilarity, and overall fun value of the Yakuza games. Why buy a knockoff when you can get the original available anywhere?

If you’ve ever thought the yakuza games were hard to get into, then you should play Judgement. It is absolutely incredible and stand alone. Enjoy beating the hell out of people while solving crimes.

Can't get enough. Lots to do. Like Yakuza, but no karaoke. Actually, it's very different from Yakuza. There's a lot of dialogue, the combat is fun and fluid, the drone missions are actually great.

This game is so cool totally worth your money. But the best part is it released in the U.S. on my birthday! Now tell me what's cooler than a anticipated game releasing on your special day?

I wondered if the team behind the Yakuza games could make something in the same universe. It's different, and it's still fantastic. Any fans of the Yakuza games will not be disappointed.

Great graphics, and gameplay that stays true to the yakuza franchise. If you like intense detective stories with some random humor thrown in, you’ll love this

If you have played the Yakuza games, you will like this game. The combat is better. The have added detective missions which are basically side missions which are fun and different.

The storyline and graphics are nice.... been wanting to try this game since it reminded me of yakuza in a way. Glad to pick this game when it was on sale.

Fantastic game and a great addition to the Yakuza universe as a spin off with some more fleshed out mini games. If you like Yakuza you will love Judgment.

Similar to the Yakuza games in term of gameplay. With fresh characters and story makes it a good choice to jump in without worry about previous story.

I loved this game. I actually think I enjoyed this game more than the yakuza series since this game gives you more things to do in it. Definitely get it if you can.

One of the new series of similar-type gameplay like Yakuza. The only difference is you have to find clues how to solve cases. Detective style!

Both my kids love it. They like video games but are more into mystery oriented games, hunt- a-killer for example. Both enjoy this game as a good combination.

This is set in the Yakuza universe, but you are a detective trying to solve crimes. So far the story is engaging and I love that there is an English dub for the voices.

Great game. Probably the best game from the Yakuza series if you can actually get it when it's in stock. A lot of fun and definitely a buy.

This game is a fantastic addition to the PS4’s strong library. Similar to the Yakuza series but with a detective setting, it’s a great game to pick up and enjoy!
