It's absurd that you can't use this with a regular controller and need a cell phone app if you don't have a kinect. It is definitely not practical and makes it way more of a hassle than it's worth. I should have returned it but Best Buy has such a short return window, I didn't give as a gift until after the window closed. DON'T BUY unless you have a Kinect.

Unable to play the game with Xbox one S

This game requires a Kinect motion sensor and in case of Xbox one S, also need adapter which is currently not available anywhere. Went to store to return the game but they refused as it was opened. We spent $40+ for a game that we can't play ... Nor we can return to Best buy.
