Just Dance 2023 is definitely different from any previous editions but if you can get past needing a phone and app to play it’s still loads of fun for friends and family. The PS5 edition is only a code, not a disc, so be prepared for that. There was a bit of a learning curve for a 30 something like me. I kind of struggked with keeing uo with the little avatar but once I got the hang of it we had a blast and laughed until we cried. I am ok with needing a phone and app but can imagine that makes things difficult for the younger kids who do’t have access like my preteen. I would love to see the option to maybe use the camera instead so you dont have to hold the phone, that would really make things easier and more fun.

It's okay. You have to download an app and hold your phone in order to play this game. The songs are just okay as well.

Bought this as a gift. I haven't heard any complaints, but I did find it odd that there is no longer a disk included in the case (only a download code).

It took a while to be able to pair the game to my cell phone due to the app that it now uses other than not it's pretty fun.

So happy that this game came with a physical case, even if it’s just for a digital download. Much better for gift giving

Nothing against Best Buy. Everything came and shipped when it stated. The game ITSELF!!! Horrible! The whole point of these games is nice to not have to hold something in your hand. And yet, they make you hold your phone while playing now! The Kinect for Xbox and PlayStations were so great for this. Then another app to download and my son can’t play with his sister now because he doesn’t have a phone. This was her birthday present. We don’t mind digital downloads either. Makes it nicer to not have discs sitting around to get scratched. The songs and everything are great. For some reason having faces on the people bothered us tho…maybe because we were used to the way it used to look for so long.

I am not Satisfied with this product. After several Attempts we could not get the players to synchronize. The instructions are not user friendly. It was a waste of money.

If you have an old Ubisoft account and don’t have access to it and your psn or Xbox live accounts are linked. Don’t even bother with this game. I bought this game and I can’t play this game at all because my PlayStation account is linked to the Ubisoft account and won’t even load up. Waste of money . I tried making a new account still doesn’t work.

The game itself is fine. The low rating is due to Ubisoft aNd their ABYSMAL policy of only authorizing the game to one PS5 user account. I bought this for my son using my account. When he went to play on his account, he was told that he did not own the game and would need to pay $60 to play. Completely unacceptable that this game is tied to only one user account!!

It’s a little weird because u can’t use the sensor to play it u have to use ur phone

Fun game, but I do not love that you use your phone to play. It’s hit or miss for actually getting points.

As expected I always enjoy playing this game and I got it in a good price so I would say it’s a good buy for this great game.

Hours of fun with the family and being able to play with only our phone is handy.

The game would probably be fine if it wasn't ruined by Ubisoft. It requires an ubisoft account to do most things and it glitches all the time: failing to connect to the account or not finding phones (you have to use a phone as an controller) that worked five minutes earlier. The worst part is that most of the songs are behind a subscription paywall. That's right it's not enough that you bought the game if you want to play you need to subscribe. You can't even pay to unlock them permanently.

This game inspires anyone to dance, even if you cant dance or you are shy, it is also fun with the kids

I bought this for my wife but I end of playing as much as she does. If you like dance games you should buy.
