    I would not recommend buying this item as it stopped working after 3 days and I could not return it because I had already threw away the package box although I kept the receipt. Really disappointed.

    had a big problem with this cable it broke while in my phone charging. The top just came off and was stuck in my charging port had to take it out with a pin. Had it for 3 weeks and that was the end of it hut it did its just for an emergency was able to charge

    I got the braided cord.....but find that it crimps at the connection end just like to regular coated cord did. This eventually after the charging connection. I'm a YES but on my recommendation. Overall I like it...its a wait and see.

    Bought this for my kids to use when we where going on vacation. 5 hours into the trip the plug broke off in the charging port of the IPad. This product is over priced for the quality.

    Nice to have a longer cord. The design should last longer for the plug that goes in and out of your phone that what came with my iphone.
