They were not damaged ans included all nessseary items. I decided to go the extea mile and buy the insurance thar is provided by geek squad. I am completely happy with my purchase.

I just wanted some cheap headphones to pair to my computer when I'm working. Luckily it was still under the one year manufacturer warranty but i drove 40 minutes to sioux falls after speaking to a best buy representative over the phone just to be told in store that i needed to call JVC directly. It was very frustrating and time consuming but the guy who helped me was very nice.

I am 5'10" middle aged not a small child, maybe they were made for men? There is almost half an inch between the top of my ear and the part that is supposed to sit on it. The enclosed earbuds come in multiple sizes, all of which are too big. I have found these things true of other brands, glad I didn't spend more, must just have small ears. Sound is good for audiobooks, but for music it's tinny and even with EQ adjustments the sound is thin and missing bandwidth.
