I was looking for the apple usb-c version and they were sold out. These were the next best thing that looked similar. For the price, they are hard to beat and I would recommend them. They sound fine and the mic seems to pick up your voice well. The cons are the cord is noticeably thicker and stiffer than apple's and they seem a bit softer (less loud, not tactile).

I needed some comfortable wired headphones for work meetings. I found these on sale and had a rewards certificate to use so figured I would give them a try. First impression was that they were not as comfortable for long long meetings as the earpods that I was using previously but that could just be the shape of my particular ear. Within a couple of weeks the inline volume control buttons stopped working. Not a huge deal since I use them with a laptop and I can easily adjust the volume directly. About a month of use they were having trouble being detected by my laptop and I would need to unplug them several times before they would show up as an audio device. I confirmed that this was not due to a bad USB-C port on my laptop by try other ports and other devices (3 different mobile phones) and they all had the same issue. After about 6 weeks of use, they just stopped working all together. Coming from a name brand like JVC I expected better quality. I cannot recommend these as a viable wired earbud. I bought another set of earpods and I couldn't be happier. Learn from my experience and just buy the earpods, or any other option, but stay away from this product.

My daughter loves them. You van hear clearly form them, no static. And it’s to your liking, it has buttons to turn up and down the volume and a a clicker to mute yourself. While hearing the person or music on the other side still.

I purchased these headphones ahead of a trip to Europe. I have a new iPad and needed a new set for the USB-C. I like the adjustments for volume on the wire… why buy wired headphones?? When traveling out of the country there’s never enough oultets in the hotel room or ports in your converters to manage all of your devices. Having the wired headset opens up charging capacity while overseas and they take up less room as they don't need a special case.

This is a suitable alternative to Apple AirPods. Ear piece fits and the controls are easy to use.

Terrific sound clarity. Nice bass sound which JVC is know for in all their components. Great for at the gym or in the yard. For the cost they are great!

Sound quality is great! Love having a mute switch for meetings! As someone who can't wear in-ear headphones with that squishy thing at the end, this is a great option.

My wife wanted to try a non-Apple product. These worked for a little while, but eventually they stopped connecting consistently to her iPhone, so we returned these and reverted back to Apple.

I used them with my iPhone and Samsung tablet. I have them next to my bed. Sometimes I just watch some news and need headphones like this that I don’t need to charge. They are great.

Chintzy. The ear pieces are uncomfortable & not one-size-fits-all - they should come with rubber covers or something. + there's no case to keep them in.

It's inexpensive, has good sound quality, and is a good fit for my ear. What more could you ask for? The wires are inconvenient, but they help minimize my exposure to EMF.

Do not buy for the microphone/to answer calls. I purchased two at the same time and the microphone stopped working within 30 days of purchase on the first pair so I started using it listen to music only. Months later I opened my second pair (still new) and once again the microphone stop working within days of using it and I could no longer use it to answer calls.

I needed some wired earbuds to go with my new iPhone that required a USB-C connector. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was much more substantial than any I had had before.

Nice earbuds, incredible sound, without straining your wallet. I highly recommend.
