Don’t waste your money

The speaker doesn’t work unless headphones are plugged in. Only bought this for our first grader to use for online school and didn’t realize it didn’t come with a camera. Ordered the camera directly through Kano the first week of August. It is now the end of August and the camera still hasn’t shipped. This defeats the entire purpose of what we bought It for in the first place. Come to find out there’s only a 15 days return period so now I’m stuck with this toy. I ended up buying a MacBook for my first grader so I knew I was getting something reliable.

I purchased this exclusively as an introductory training aid. It is a phenomenal first programming learner machine. They also include 60 days of the Kano training free with a code in the purchase. I will surely keep paying for the service as long as I continue to learn. The actual hardware is quite light weight and usable as a portable laptop too.

It is very easy to assemble and setup and looks quite cool. It also has windows 10 and other apps can be installed on there. The only thing that caught me by surprise was the USB-C port cant be used for data. It only works with their charger as well, so its not proper USB-C, but there are 2 other USB ports that work very well.

She needed this for school but will still have to use my phone for her zoom calls.
