Even with a sweet deal I wouldn’t buy. I wouldn’t even buy it for a kid. Not worth it

If this is for kids for school, should it not have a computer?

It cant multi task Can barely task. Do not buy!

I'm such a fan of Kano's products - well-designed, intuitive, educational, functional. Giving kids ownership over the technology they use is truly important, and Kano is at the forefront of those efforts. This is a fully-functional computer at an affordable price, that also happens to be a hands-on learning experience at every stage of the assembly and use process. Highly recommended!

4 stars of 5 I like the Kano Windows PC a lot. I took off half a star because the white letters on the orange keyboard are hard to see. I took off another half star because the Kano software seems buggy. I have gotten through many of the coding challenges, but the software made it more challenging than necessary. There seems to be a lot of questions from people who are getting questionable answers. My Kano, from BestBuy, came with Windows Home WITHOUT S Mode. There may be other versions, but the BestBuy runs straight Windows 10. There is a micro SD slot on the computer board. I will be getting an SD card because, after upgrading to the 2004 version of Windows, I am already down to 17 Gb memory out of 57Gb. I was able to run the Kano on a separate monitor in both duplicate and extended modes. I could also run usb keyboards, mice, and a webcam. These could be handy for adults working with kids on the Kano. Note that Kano just announced their own webcam, available in August. There is a microphone on the computer board, and Cortana does run: you have to turn in on in “settings.” The touchscreen(720p) works well, and a passive stylus(not an active, digital pen) worked fine, especially since I have big fingers. Basically, the Kano is a real Windows 10 pc at a chrome book price that shows kids and adults what's behind the curtain. Nice work.

I had read about the Kano PC in the press and all the excitement surrounding it's quality and price and I must say it delivered beyond my expectations! I assembled this with my 9 year old son who delighted in creating his own computer. It works like a charm: fast, easy, light, agile and downloads are a cinch. Frankly we have three other computers in our home, both PCs and Macs and this has become my go to computer (when my son is not on it). It would be a great product at twice the price. Amazing deal!

This is a great 2-in-1 laptop for the price. Works extremely well, and it was fun putting the product together and learning a little bit about computers in the process. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very cool touchscreen laptop that works extremely well. Perfect for in-home learning.

TLDR; Fantastic cheap PC for kids to start. There is no support network available once something goes wrong with any of their software. I hate to do this as when we first bought this it was such a great introduction to computers for my kids. As a tech nerd, I loved it. But I decided to take the time to post this review because they have severely failed us on support. I haven't been able to get support and access the parent dashboard for managing my kids account on Kano World in over a year. Their support site has been down now for over a month. There's never a single response from their support email requests. We have since moved onto iPads so we enjoyed it while it lasted, but once we started having any issues, we lost any ability to get assistance.

I got the KanoPC for my daughter and I must say she has been excited from day one! She loved being able to put it together from the box, she loves how colourful it is and most importantly, she has no difficulty working with it for her online schooling. The coding features are also a big plus since she’s just been introduced to the world of coding not long ago. Finally I must commend Kano ( #Dani & #Chris ) for their customer support, very prompt and reliable. Thanks guys

There is a sea of laptops and PCs out there and they are all the same. At last - something unique, innovative, powerful, well priced with added features - make it yourself; replacement parts to save time and money. Perfect for both home and schools. Educators - a real PC, not a “kiddie one.”

For people that are complaining about windows 10 being in s mode, you can look online to remove s mode.. it is very simple to do, please look it up.

Literally just bought 2 of the Kano PC and one of them the screen doesn't turn on and the other worked for about 4 minutes and screen shuts off. It's too bad I really thought this would be a good product for my homeschoolers.
