Excellent starter computer for kiddos at was at a great price

Great computer for the price. My goddaughter loved it.

This product is great. I bought 2 for corona home schooling. The only drawback is you have to order a web cam.

My granddaughter loved putting the computer together and is eager to start school using it.

These are the best little laptops ever for my grandkids who are homeschooling. They had so much fun putting them together!!

Performs as well as or better than PCs which cost way more. Also, really fun to build it yourself either with a child or alone. Modular makes great sense as it’s so easy to replace a part rather than the usual cost and pain of sending your PC away to be repaired. Kano delivers another innovative, “never seen before” product.

I bought this for my 11 year old son for his birthday. He put it together rather easily. It's bulky, kinda heavy, but overall a nice machine. It's a little sluggish when you push it. For instance, he tried to play Roblox and Minecraft and it was very difficult to play. Lots of lag.

Purchased for my son (8) to learn to code and to give him his own laptop in the house. He had a blast "building" his first laptop. He looks forward to using it everyday for school.

The product is fantastic and is a perfect replacement for Chromebooks not being available. I can only give 4 stars because the service wasn't the best. I waited a long time to be helped even though a group of workers was standing there talking to eachother. The worst part was that they shipped the product to my mother's house instead of mine even though I stood there and have them my shipping address. It made for a huge hassle as she lives 45 minutes away. The men that helped me were kind and knowledgeable, just needed to be better listeners.

Bought as a christmas gift this past year. Child put it together with ease. No complaints. Can become dated quickly, but its a good starter overall.

This is a really good 1st computer for my 1st grade granddaughter, however, the only thing that its lacking is a video card so she can record her own videos for her classes. Otherwise, its a really good computer.

I will start off by saying this this product is very well built, especially at this price point and for its intended purpose. Everything is crafted in very high quality materials. Assembling it seemed a little simplistic, a couple of large pieces and panels with a tiny speaker to plug and it was put together very quickly. Powering it up was quick but the initial setup, like with all Windows products, remains a painstaking process. Eventually when the initial slew of software updates kicked in and startup configuration was complete, the Windows experience was pleasant. Simple tasks were completed with ease. Then when the kid was finally bored with it, I finally picked it to run it through its paces. First tried installing some of my favorite third party apps only to get blocked. This is due to the Kano running on Windows S-Mode, which probably explains why it runs relatively smooth doing simple tasks like browsing on the internet and watching videos (albeit not at the same time). I then tried to stream live TV while surfing on Edge simultaneously, something not unreasonable to pull off, even for this “kids computer”. The result was not encouraging...video lags, browser freezes, everything that leaves the user wondering it is going to crash or will come back within a few seconds...which it did each time. But if you are trying to watch live TV, the experience is already ruined by this. I don’t think disabling S-Mode would make this better, as it’s original intended purpose was to make a more streamlined and smooth user experience. Simple multi-tasking was an expected trait that I thought would take this device over the top. We knew it was already to fun looking and could teach the kid a thing or two about computing, but it’s performance inabilities make it an overall turn-off. Chances your kid, or even mines, will ever care about these things though. Still recommended to buy but just know it perhaps won’t do some of things you might expect it to, at least with any sort of speed or smoothness.

From opening this laptop is interactive and fun to learn. Most kids that love technology will like this. Can convert to a tablet too. Set up was quick, less than 5 min. Processor is a bit slow. Don’t expect to use this for everything, unless you add more memory and RAM. Other than that a good starter laptop and decent price.

This Kano of is vervy good but if ur going to play Roblox on it its great but don’t download to manny things on it

Great device for kids but note that it doesn't include the camera. You have to purchase it separately for an additional price.
