Night video recording is also good. Better for you to download files directly from the storage card because doing it wirelessly can be very slow.

Amazing little Dashcam

We have them in all of our automobiles.

I can see the videos through its app and has definitely recorded my drives in case of any emergency. I think its a plus nowadays to have a dash cam.

Bare Bones, Confusing, But Good for the Price

And it does do what it's supposed to do. It is confusing to operate at first -- no instructions on features, or how. to turn functions/options on/off. No idea why it "locks," or protects, every other video, for instance, or how to turn that function off. But overall, you get the hang of it pretty quick. And like I said, it works as advertised.

KENWOOD dash cam

Don't buy this

Every couple of days it keeps beeping with a warning protected files will be overwritten but it doesn't overwrite them. I have to format the card each time or I have no recordings of my trip. It gave me the warning just as we were leaving to go out yesterday and I didn't format the card. On the journey there was an accident in front of us. When I got home to review the files, there were no records of that trip. I can't find any options to turn off saving protected files. There are 2 directories on the SD card. Video and Protected. I just want the files to be saved in Video and be automatically overwritten but there is not an option. The quality of the video and sound is great but as I can't return the item now, it was an expensive mistake as I need to buy a new camera.
