I’ve used this camera many times sometimes it freezes up on me but it’s the perfect size for my car it’s small but captures everything I need it to capture! This has saved me from accidents

The Kenwood dash cam works very well and has been used continuously since receiving it. You will not be disappointed with this.

I have no issues with this dash cam. I see a lot of other have problems with the app but i works for me. I have no issues viewing or saving file to my phone using the app. And it also records in good quality

Works like a Dash Cam. Would purchase another one if I needed to. I like the mounting systems offered with this item.

Goid quality camera. Not the easyest to get playback but after you figure it out as a 4 step prosses its not bad at all

I haven't used this camera very long, but it seems to be working well, at least for the most basic operations. It records nice video, and I like the big screen.

I bought this dash cam primarily for night time driving, as a majority of my driving is after dark. Video quality during the day I would give about a 7/10. Night time is the real issue as far as quality goes. The glare off streetlights, car headlights, brake lights, business lights etc etc... Is so bad that you cant even see the vehicles in front of you most of the time. Even in a smaller town with no amount of large traffic around, the glare off of a single streetlight is really bad. Secondly, driving in the country where there are no streetlights is just as bad. The only thing you can see in the video is what's directly in front of your car, up to about 10 feet. If cars drive towards you, their headlights blind the entire video until they are past. I tried to adjust the angle of the camera and the position on both the dash and window and it made no difference. The settings are very limited and nothing there helps any of these issues. One thing that I thought would be a pro of this camera, turned out to be a con as well. You can choose to make 1, 3 or 5 minute video clips. I thought that was nice, until I realized those were the only options. If I take a long trip and want to do one video and make a time lapse out of it, I don't have that option. The software is clunky and hard to manage. When connecting to your phone to view videos off the dashcam, you have to turn off your data and wifi completely and connect to the Kenwood wifi, which tells you it has no active internet connection, then you have to open the app and connect there. If you do it in any other order, it won't work. Also, some phones are set to automatically reconnect to your data if you try a wifi that has no internet connection, which is a problem with this device because all data has to remain off the entire time. Also, the Gshock sensor that is built in is a problem as well. If you leave the Gshock on, every tiny bump in the road you hit, the cam will turn on the setting to lock the video, thinking that you have hit another car and it saves the video needlessly. All around, just a very poor camera. Spend the extra money and buy a better camera, you will save yourself a ton of hassle.

I purchased this after reviewing many different dash cams. This one really stood out and when it went on sale I got it. It has great picture & sound quality. The app works great and makes it so simple to download footage straight to your phone or iCloud. Definitely worth it!

Front connection does not work. Video not that clear.

I previously bought a cheap dash cam and although it was cool, I wanted better quality and dependability. The Kenwood is great! As crazy as some drivers are on the road, highly recommend having one to document any auto incidents.

Handy little device that mounts out of the way. Loop recording uses a lot of memory. I only use it for stills which does an awesome job. Especially handy that photos are date and time stamped

The video on this is fantastic, even in the dark. Only wish it was easier to get on/off my window, and maybe would connect to my phone via Bluetooth.

No issues at all with this dashcam other than the app being a little weird at times.

Good product more apps than I realized. Satisfied with the picture display and it was easy to program.

The DRV-A301W was easy to install and set up. It also has a very handy app that is user friendly.
