I wasn't sure what to expect from this dash cam, it was my first dash cam purchase. I am quite impressed. It has a startlingly good image quality. It mounts easy, sets up easy, and is easy to use. It also has the first suction cup mount I have ever owned that actually works. The only complaint I can think of is the fact that the WiFi can take a while to transmit data. I prefer to plug it into the computer in order to download images. I also keep a micro-SD to USB-C reader in the car to connect it quickly to my phone.

I have only been using this for a week but so far so good and I am very happy with this camera. I will add to this review when I’ve used it for a month or so. I hope it will last and keep on working. The picture is very clear and the volume is very clear also, even at night. This seems to be a good reasonably priced camera.

I bought three of these- one for my daughter, one for my son-in-law, and one for myself. We love this camera! I got them for a great price and am glad I went with the Kenwood, already a great name in products. Easy to set up and definitely a must-have these days!

I've expected Kenwood to deliver at least an acceptable product. The camera quality in daylight is OK. However, at night it's horrible. Each video takes on avg. about 20% more space on the SD card (in comparison with other similar cameras, rated at the same resolution). The software has quite a few unacceptable glitches and is not quite developed yet. To make it worse, the persistent warning that reminds the user to save the recorded pictures, almost caused me to get into an accident. These warnings persisted for over a week (about every minute), despite the fact that I did all that was expected (except return it to the store:). Not user friendly. One barely touches the camera and it would disengage from the mount. Couldn’t get it to sync either with a brand new iPhone or Android. This dash cam overheats even when extremely cold, which might make it dangerous during hot days. No internal battery, and to have a parking mode costs 20$. The mic is weak as well. Other than the brand, not much separates this $100+ dash cam from a $30 dash-cam. A lot needs to be changed before it can be a $100+ dash-cam.

The Kenwood dash cam is easy to install and set up the pictures are clear and easy to use I would recommend this product to anyone

Very good dashcam only thing i didnt like was the mobile app but everything else works great and image quality is very good

Its ok. It doesn't like it when your idle, at a stop light or waiting to turn. It will turn itself off and on until you start moving again. I downloaded the app as well but it won't connect to it. I guess you get what you pay for. There are more expensive dash cams out there but I wasn't willing and didn't have the money for them. The screen is also very tiny.

Has excellent wide range. Not as clear as advertising leads you to believe with plates at speed. NO BATTERY! Ad leads you to believe it has a battery. Not plugged in to power, does not work. Overall for price, range and clarity is a good deal. Would buy again.

High quality video. Easy to install. You can get cheaper models, but you will have problems. Just get this one.

A good camera with nice quality. Easy to install and use

So far I love it. A great feature that I like with it is you can save videos directly to your phone by connecting it to an app. Therefore I don’t have to remove the SD card and use a computer to extract the video. Other cameras might offer this also but I thought this was a great feature. Video is clear and the camera keeps the time and date stamp up to date without having it plugged into power for over a week.
