I put off buying a Keurig because my wife & I like to use the auto brew settings on about an 8 cup pot so it's ready to pour when we wake up. This machine allows us to do that while allowing the other members of the household to use the single cup function. Also the insulated pot keeps coffee hot for hours without a hotplate so you don't get burnt tasting coffee.

We were really excited to get this and thought it was going to be a HUGE upgrade to the Hamilton Beach, but it wasn't, it was worse and at a price tag of $199. They say the normal coffee temps should be anywhere between 195-205 degrees. We tested the water temps a bunch of times and it came in at the highest of 165, that's unacceptable no matter what brand it is. There is no bottom burner and we thought being it's a thermal carafe it wouldn't matter, boy were we wrong. COLD COFFE no thanks. This system unfortunately is terrible and will be going back. I am a Best Buy Elite member and thank God I had about $165 in Best Buy dollars to buy this. I also get a ton of time to return items because of my status. So, become a member like me and you'll never want another credit card, I got around $550 in free BB bucks last year just simply using my credit card.

It stopped working after 3 months. Mind you he only brews a 1/2 pot of coffee a day. So it is not "overused". First when it started to act up I descales it. At that point it was only brewing 1/2 of what he programmed it to brew. Then about 3 weeks ago he set it to brew and it just keeps turning off. The water will not transfer from the tank to the maker. I paid $199.00 for this piece of junk. I will never purchase another Keurig again. I have tried several times to get through to Keurig customer service and that was a joke !!! Beware..DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!
