Love it. Makes a great cup coffee as well as a great latte

Keurig offers a one-year limited warranty on all its machines, but many customer reviews say the machines don't even last that long. Most Keurig machines available on Amazon have a worrying number of one-star reviews complaining that the machines failed in one way or another after just a few months

I go back and forth on using Keurig products, as we have a lot of options at our house for better coffee (grind and brew, espresso machine and high end grinder, aeropress, etc.), but when life gets super busy, the Keurigs get put back in the rotation. My office moved to a new location as of the first of the year, and I picked this one up to keep there. I have a full size Keurig at home as well, so this is mostly a comparison to that one. My understanding is that this K-Latte is a "lite" version of the K-Cafe, which I don't have and have never used. It definitely feels cheaper than my regular Keurig at home (I think it is a B60). The plastic is lighter and less solid. There isn't any option to keep the water preheated and ready on this one. It is more "on demand" in the sense that each use requires the water to be heated up at that time. It doesn't take any longer than heating up the water when the full size has been completely off, but there isn't really a standby mode. There is no option to adjust water temperature either. It's a stripped down, bare-bones Keurig. That said, it does have the option to brew a more concentrated shot for making coffee drinks, hence the "Latte" designation. It certainly isn't espresso, but it works in a pinch. If you are buying this to make espresso shots, don't. Get an espresso machine and grinder, or if you want the convenience get a nespresso capsule machine. If you are going to use your Keurig to make K-cups all day long, this probably isn't the best option either. If, however, you want an occasional K-cup, and want the option for a more concentrated shot out of it, this is the machine for you. On sale, I think it is a better option than the mini models that don't have a water reservoir. I also would rather have the shot option than a 12 oz option. I can't imagine how bad 12 oz of water through a single K-cup would be, I haven't used the milk frother, so I can't comment on that. It's hard to be discerning about K-cup coffee flavor, but I would say it is pretty close to my full size machine, using the same K-cups. It works well at my office where it gets used a few times a week. Final note: The milk frother can be removed and hidden, and the tray folded up, which is a good idea if other people that might leave milk souring in it when you aren't around.

Great coffee maker at a great price. Similar coffeemakers cost hundreds and this one is perfect a with a great price.
