I prefer to just add a amplifier to the stock stereo especially with my Subaru Crosstrek mainly because the starlink system. With this I was easily add a amp with no fuss. The instructions were straight forward and simple and took me about 30 minutes to wire up. Not only that but the associate in store was quick like sonic and helped me find it. Even explained the benefit of kicker over other brands. He even brought the stereo installer out to give me a run down. Other than that the product solid ten out of ten another reason I have a credit card here and don't use amazon

The remote turn on feature is a must for simple install where you dont want to wire more cables across the car.

Used to tap my rear speakers in a factory system to add rca outs for an underwear sub. Definitely worth the price.

This is a very simple product to use that gives you. The option to use an after market amplifier . Simply connect the speaker wires to the product from your vehicle ground. A groundwire from the product to the vehicle. And you ready to go? It literally takes 4 minutes 5 minutes to connect this product. If you know exactly what you're doing and I hope you do.
