The game did not live up to expectations, I saw all the reviews before the game launches and my fear came through. They was all focused on graphics, graphics, graphics, not enough game play and it came at no surprised when i complete the game and realize that the story did not captivate me as a gamer. In the beginning i felt like i was one with the game after you finally take the road as a Shadow Marshall it went downhill form there. There were moments i felt like i am wasting my time, moments where i had no clue where the hell i am going and gets pretty frustrating. The cut scenes were bland and boring, for a Kill Zone fan it is just another collection to your previous installments. To Developers: Stop focusing so much on online play and cut the campaign of the story so short, dull and boring. Make 2 disc for gamers sake one entirely on the single player aspect so you can use up the whole disc space and one on multi player only

I've played all the three Killzone console games, as well as the PSP iteration. So I was hyped for this game, but left rather disappointed. Even on a next gen console, I found the game to be a bit underwhelming. I didn't feel connected to the characters, the difficulty was too high, and about an hour or two in I started to check the trade in value of the game. I had high hopes for the game, but was left unimpressed

It is one of the best looking games of the PS4. It has a good but not great campaign that lasts about 8 hours. I havent played the multiplayer yet.

This game is the best game available for the PS4 right now. The graphics are unbelievable and the gameplay is some of the best you'll find on the PS4. The online multiplayer is underrated as well. The only issue I had is the story doesn't keep me wanting to play through it. I will play through one chapter and come back a week or two later and play the next one.

it was fun and good action and ok for playstation could of been a little better.

Love this game and the DLC looks like its going to get a lot better with jet packs.

If you're a Killzone fan, this is a must have. With that said, this is easily the best title on PS4 so far. It showcases how powerful the console is, despite obviously not taking the console to its fullest advantage (no games will for quite a while, same with Xbox One). I have played every launch title on Xbox one and PS4 and this is my favorite simply on the fact it feels complete and solid. Battlefield 4, COD: Ghosts, and most others all suffer from annoying bugs or simply just being bad games or ports. The MP on this is fast, solid and fluid. Graphics are stellar and I find myself coming back form more all of the time. Story is a little lacking, but it always is with Killzone title. If you are looking for the best FPS MP experience on any next gen console, this is it, no question. 1080p 60fps and solid. That is enough for me until Titan Fall on Xbox One comes out at least :) or Destiny!

This is the first time I've played a killzone game. Graphics are great!! I just wish this game had a map view. I don't like the small icon that tells you which direction to go. I'm not fond of cinematic parts, but a story must be told.

Great Game! Awesome graphics! but! i found it hard to play longer than an hour at a time. I kept finding myself get a bit tired of playing but was always great to get back to the next day, it was fun but a bit confusing with the controls and touch pad during some action sequences. Multiplayer is fun i usually reserve online multiplayer for games like Battlefield 4 anything less is just no fun for me.

I still think this is a fun game. The multiplayer is awesome and the story isn't too bad. It's a cool game. You can probably pick it up for $20.

This is a pretty good game. It was entertaining enough, but I feel it was more of a graphics showcase rather than a true Killzone title. Previous games were better as far as story, in my opinion. The ending was stupid. However, the controls were nice, and their implementation of the touchpad was spot on. That being said, the graphics are amazing. If you want to see what your PS4 can do, then this is a worthy title to show it off.

Killzone was the first line of games when PS4 was released. Until today remains a good game. You won't be disappointed.

I have enjoyed and followed the Killzone games since they came out. Shadow fall is a departure from the other games in terms of story and multiplayer. In some ways better and in some ways worse. The story is top notch and the best of all PS4 launch shooters. The multiplayer on the other hand is more like call of duty than battlefield. Its fast paced and most people dont work together as team. Its fun in its own way if you like to play the lone wolf run and gun style

Pretty good game for a launch title. Graphics are really good, game play is really fun. Story line is ok, controller works well with this game. Pretty good on-line play, lots of fun!

It's decent for a launch title and I wouldn't give it so many stars otherwise. Not a must play but since there isn't much out at the time it's a nice time easter at a discount price.

The multiplayer is incredibly intense. For one to say it gets stale is someone who obviously sucks at the game. Melee is very satisfying and explosive devices are employed constantly. The graphics are sick and there really isn't much more to be said other than it's the best game for PS4 still.

One of the release day games I was excited about & the enthusiasm was well placed! The controls are relatively easy, the graphics are amazing & it is flat out a fun game!!!

Like I said, looks isn't everything. Being a launch title for the PS4, Killzone is a perfectly average game.

First of all I love the KZ series and this latest version is visually sumptuous, however, I recently put in almost 3 hours ( a long time for me at one sitting) and accomplished several objectives in chapter2. When I wanted to quit, there was no option to save progress so I just quit. 2 days later I go to continue and I end up back at the start of chapter 2!!!!! 3 hours of game play down the cyber crapper. I would have loved to give a 5 star rating, but can't until the techies fix this glaring mistake.Wake up Electronic Arts, not everyone in for marathon sessions. I see no point in playing this game if all I can do is play part way thru chapter 2. BTW, writing a review here is one of the most frustrating, glitchy experiences I can imagine, if a typing mistake is made you could spend an hour just trying delete a word, or get the cursor where you want it. Most of the time I try to write reviews here I end up giving up in frustration.
