I've never been more happy to finish a game...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the most frustrating video games I've ever plaid. Visually, Shadow Fall is a great tech demo for the powerhouse PS4 and the core gameplay elements are on-point, with the OWL drone being a nice tag-along edition. However, the bad far outweighs the good here. Some negatives I experienced: - You cannot change your primary weapon. - The story is largely a disjointed mess and practically tripping over tropes. - Bland characters make it impossible to be invested in anyone you encounter throughout the campaign. - Some lazy level design results in waves of bullet sponge enemies being used rather than presenting fun challenges. - While the larger scale is ambitious, some of the objectives are extremely vague. This game is frequently on sale and with GCU, I'd recommend it for under twenty bucks. But other than that, it's hardly memorable, other than being needlessly frustrating.

Great FPS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good story line, graphics are great. I did get this late in the game as Destiny came out which has my interest at the moment but this game does look like one that I will get back into later on.

dont buy, rent it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i was expecting the graphics to be better, the multiplayer is fun but gets boring after a little while, the story was also enjoyable until you had to start using the touchpad, then it got very annoying and i ended up turning it off

great graphics . . . ending eh!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played this game before COD and was glad I did as an intro to the new PS4 system. I've never seen anything like it or come close to the details of the background . . . insane. I would definitely play it again and again.

loved the game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i am a huge fan of Killzone, the series is great...the online gameplay is underrated i never had lag issues, the problem was the game balancing of teams online could get haywire once in awhile, the game still supported by the dev over a year later...has offline bots

Great entry game for the PS4
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this game. The graphics are jaw dropping and you get a good experience using the new pad on the dualshock 4 controller. I finished the game in a week so that was pretty easy for me. I still like it but not sure if I would want to play it again.

Beautiful Gameplay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is absolutely beautiful. The best Looking killzone ever. Campaign didn't pull me in emotionally as I wanted. But it's still a fun game to play and experience what potential the ps4 has.

Great style, but little substance.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, I have to give congratulations to the developor (Guerilla Games) for getting such an impressive looking title ready for the PS4 launch. It truly is stunning to see on a large HDTV. However, the game does have a boring story and protagonist, and later levels resort to cheap tatics such as waves of AI enemies coming at your, as well as some confusing level design. At this point, I would wait until you can get the game for $29.99 or lower. It's been on sale many times and has already sold a boatload, so there's no need to pay full price. It's still worth experiencing, but with inFamous Second Son now out as well, I would say that is a better overall option.

Great Game but Not the best in the series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the graphics and the flying little robot was cool but thats about it. The story and gameplay was lacking in this one. It didn't suck you in like the last 2 games I played in the series for PS3. But still a pretty decent game.

SO-SO
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent game, controls are a little annoying and the game series still feels generic. The storyline grows tremendously and it is much improved over the last entries. The graphics are superb but the annoying touch pad required controls make up for that, the fight system makes up for that... the graphics can't save everything. I mention the touch pad because as much as an innovative feature that it is, it is also incredibly useless and in the way because things could be quicker without it. Requiring it kind of ruins the experience all together.

Easy on the eyes, and that's it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a big first person shooter fan, this was an obvious day one purchase for me. While I haven't always been a huge fan of the Killzone franchise as a whole, I really looked forward to the possibilities of this title. I was, however, extremely disappointed. The game looks fantastic, the developers did an incredible job of showcasing the PS4s early capabilities. They also did a good job of integrating the new touch pad without it being too gimmicky. The world is vast, open, and there is exploration to be had, and here is where the problem lies. While the game does a fair job of giving you proper direction, you will find yourself roaming around a lot trying to get to the next objective. The fire fights are very far and few between, and the ones you do engage in aren't satisfying in the least. The bit of a stealth component they initially introduce in the game is quickly thrown to the wayside once you obtain your first gun as well. The single player is extraordinarily short as well, seems even more so than your other AAA first person shooter titles. Personally I traded the game in before I could completely finish it. I made it to Ch. 9, and refused to complete it. While the multiplayer is a great component, I would much rather play Battlefield (despite its issues) than Killzone. Hope this review helps.

Nice shooter, not very long
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.KZ: SF is a great first entry for the franchise on the PS4. Visuals are absolutely gorgeous, but the single player is a bit short.

Feast for the Eyes, Starvation for the Brain
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Killzone: Shadow Fall is without a doubt one of the best looking console games on the market but it lacks strong gameplay to back it up. When disappoints me the most is the blurring in multiplayer. Rapid motion such as running blurs everything and takes away the enjoyment for playing. The shooting is still sluggish when compared it its peers and the multiplayer lacks any identity.

Spectacular game graphics
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing shooter game. Always been a fan of KillZone. Its a game that is really apart from COD or BattleField. Campaign has always been my favorite with this game, especially with the graphics and unique abilities the weapons have.
