I purchased this game a few months ago when it was on sale for $19.99 around the time when I first purchased my PS4. It's a great game with an interesting story. Though I hadn't played the previous games, I didn't feel I was out of place when playing this one.

    Great Potential

The game did not live up to expectations, I saw all the reviews before the game launches and my fear came through. They was all focused on graphics, graphics, graphics, not enough game play and it came at no surprised when i complete the game and realize that the story did not captivate me as a gamer. In the beginning i felt like i was one with the game after you finally take the road as a Shadow Marshall it went downhill form there. There were moments i felt like i am wasting my time, moments where i had no clue where the hell i am going and gets pretty frustrating. The cut scenes were bland and boring, for a Kill Zone fan it is just another collection to your previous installments. To Developers: Stop focusing so much on online play and cut the campaign of the story so short, dull and boring. Make 2 disc for gamers sake one entirely on the single player aspect so you can use up the whole disc space and one on multi player only

Amazing shooter game. Always been a fan of KillZone. Its a game that is really apart from COD or BattleField. Campaign has always been my favorite with this game, especially with the graphics and unique abilities the weapons have.

A disappointment for a fan of the series

I've played all the three Killzone console games, as well as the PSP iteration. So I was hyped for this game, but left rather disappointed. Even on a next gen console, I found the game to be a bit underwhelming. I didn't feel connected to the characters, the difficulty was too high, and about an hour or two in I started to check the trade in value of the game. I had high hopes for the game, but was left unimpressed

One of the release day games I was excited about & the enthusiasm was well placed! The controls are relatively easy, the graphics are amazing & it is flat out a fun game!!!

It is one of the best looking games of the PS4. It has a good but not great campaign that lasts about 8 hours. I havent played the multiplayer yet.

I've never been more happy to finish a game...

This is one of the most frustrating video games I've ever plaid. Visually, Shadow Fall is a great tech demo for the powerhouse PS4 and the core gameplay elements are on-point, with the OWL drone being a nice tag-along edition. However, the bad far outweighs the good here. Some negatives I experienced: - You cannot change your primary weapon. - The story is largely a disjointed mess and practically tripping over tropes. - Bland characters make it impossible to be invested in anyone you encounter throughout the campaign. - Some lazy level design results in waves of bullet sponge enemies being used rather than presenting fun challenges. - While the larger scale is ambitious, some of the objectives are extremely vague. This game is frequently on sale and with GCU, I'd recommend it for under twenty bucks. But other than that, it's hardly memorable, other than being needlessly frustrating.

I really like this game. The graphics are jaw dropping and you get a good experience using the new pad on the dualshock 4 controller. I finished the game in a week so that was pretty easy for me. I still like it but not sure if I would want to play it again.

First of all, I have to give congratulations to the developor (Guerilla Games) for getting such an impressive looking title ready for the PS4 launch. It truly is stunning to see on a large HDTV. However, the game does have a boring story and protagonist, and later levels resort to cheap tatics such as waves of AI enemies coming at your, as well as some confusing level design. At this point, I would wait until you can get the game for $29.99 or lower. It's been on sale many times and has already sold a boatload, so there's no need to pay full price. It's still worth experiencing, but with inFamous Second Son now out as well, I would say that is a better overall option.

    Great game 1st killzone experience

This is the first time I've played a killzone game. Graphics are great!! I just wish this game had a map view. I don't like the small icon that tells you which direction to go. I'm not fond of cinematic parts, but a story must be told.

Great Game! Awesome graphics! but! i found it hard to play longer than an hour at a time. I kept finding myself get a bit tired of playing but was always great to get back to the next day, it was fun but a bit confusing with the controls and touch pad during some action sequences. Multiplayer is fun i usually reserve online multiplayer for games like Battlefield 4 anything less is just no fun for me.

    SO-SO

Decent game, controls are a little annoying and the game series still feels generic. The storyline grows tremendously and it is much improved over the last entries. The graphics are superb but the annoying touch pad required controls make up for that, the fight system makes up for that... the graphics can't save everything. I mention the touch pad because as much as an innovative feature that it is, it is also incredibly useless and in the way because things could be quicker without it. Requiring it kind of ruins the experience all together.

I still think this is a fun game. The multiplayer is awesome and the story isn't too bad. It's a cool game. You can probably pick it up for $20.

    Amazing graphics, so-so game

This is a pretty good game. It was entertaining enough, but I feel it was more of a graphics showcase rather than a true Killzone title. Previous games were better as far as story, in my opinion. The ending was stupid. However, the controls were nice, and their implementation of the touchpad was spot on. That being said, the graphics are amazing. If you want to see what your PS4 can do, then this is a worthy title to show it off.

I have enjoyed and followed the Killzone games since they came out. Shadow fall is a departure from the other games in terms of story and multiplayer. In some ways better and in some ways worse. The story is top notch and the best of all PS4 launch shooters. The multiplayer on the other hand is more like call of duty than battlefield. Its fast paced and most people dont work together as team. Its fun in its own way if you like to play the lone wolf run and gun style

    Decent for a launch title

It's decent for a launch title and I wouldn't give it so many stars otherwise. Not a must play but since there isn't much out at the time it's a nice time easter at a discount price.
