These games are just ports of handheld games. Give us kingdom hearts 3 already.

The 1st 2 original Kingdom Hearts were fun off the bat. WIth the story line, and the walkthorugh being Sora. This one just didnt have that same vibe. I stopped playing after the first 30min, Taking it to Gamestop for game credit.

It was nice to finally get the last couple games on PS4 to complete the collection. Dream Drop Distance played well on PS4 and the new Birth by Sleep chapter was a very nice look into the story leading up to Kingdom Hearts 3 and what it might play like. I recommend to all those patiently waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3.

It has been 12 days and I still haven’t gotten my package. So this is the only review I can give. By far the worst Best Buy experience so far.

    The game exceeded my expectations

First and foremost, The previous review on the game is innacurate. The game just released on 1/24 and the review was written 12/30. Loading times are definitely not slow on the game. I have a regular PS4 (not a pro) and load times are just fine. For clarification, it's two games and a movie. Dream drop distance is a remake of the 3ds, 2.8 is an entirely new game (only like three hours of gameplay) and back cover is a movie based off the mobile game. Graphics are okay on DDD considering it's a remake of a Nintendo 3ds platform. 2.8 is beatiful and gives a good idea of what three will look like. DDD takes place after KH2 and 2.8 is after the events of Birth by Sleep. If you are someone that's played the series before they're good collectibles and these titles are what will tie KH3 together since these games provide a lot of information and the events in the game lead up to KH3. The storyline is good.

    Bought this for Aqua

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is one of my favorite kingdom hearts games storywise. When I saw the trailer for 2.8 and saw that it contained a short little story for Aqua (a character that i loved in birth by sleep) I had to buy it. This game also gave us a little sneak peak at kingdom hearts 3 new engine which is looking promising.

great collection but not better than 1.5 and 2.5

It's just a let down compared to the other 2 collections. I mean you have 0.2 which is nice but it is short. The idea is to do multiple playthroughs to complete the challenges. It would have been nice if they did a final mix version of dream drop distance. It's great but not something I would pay full retail for. And there is only 1 platinum and no trophies for the back cover. For all that they could have just opted it out as people could watch it on YT anyway. Still good collection though.

This is a good installment for the series, I had never played DDD before but I absolutely loved it after playing the PS4 version (after getting past the whole Dream Eater system). The Fragmentary Passage and Back Cover are great additions and help expand the story going into KH3.

    Not what I expected

I ordered this because of the Kingdom Hearts series while waiting on KH3 to come out. I ordered this also thinking that it would be a great game with three in one however I was only met with 1.5 games in one. The main one is a 3Ds remake and the basically half of one is about Aqua's story in the dark lands that's really only about maybe 6 little run throughs. While I'm really disappointed with this "collection" if you will, it does help fill in the spots of some characters if anyone has forgotten in the past 10 years since the 2nd one. I would expect to find this in the $30 games section instead of the $60. If it was in the $30 section I would recommend this to a friend

The 2.8 Prologue is a let down however, Dream Drop Distance is a great game with a great story and fun worlds to explore.
