Customers admire Kingdom Hearts III's smooth gameplay, engaging story, and visually appealing worlds. Many found the game fun and a good value for the price, also praising the music. However, some players felt the difficulty could be increased, and a few criticized the voice acting and the length of the cutscenes. Overall, the positive feedback on gameplay and story outweighs the negative comments on other aspects.

Awesome game! Last few worlds were shorter than I would have liked, but still a good amount of gameplay! Great story!

Purchased this as a gift for my sister but she said it was amazing and well worth the long wait since the last game.

It took years but the last chapter of kingdom hearts came out. The game looks great on both ps4 and pro but the pro does run a little smoother. The story is just what you would expect if you've played other entries. Only one complaint would've loved to see more final fantasy references but the game really hasn't been about that except for a super hard optional boss on part 2. Overall time well spent and looking forward to the DLC next month.

Great Game, Long Cut Scenes

I have been waiting for this ever since I finished the second one 12 years ago. I had only played KHII and had zero interest in playing any of the additional games outside of 1 and 2. But luckily, I have my husband, who likes to research things, and we played through (most of) the games together. I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone who is interested in this game to get The Story So Far and play through all of those. Graphics are amazing and so is the storyline. I just wish they found a better way to convey the story outside of the endless cut scenes.

Fun game. If you want to be hit with nostalgia since the first two were released, I would recommend this game. The game took me 25 hours to beat, and that was including idle time. Those who want to beat the game quickly will 20 hours or less if you focus only on the story and 35 hours if you want to unlock everything. The graphics look great, and the water detail is exceptional. I really enjoyed the Pirates of Carribian as you can main a ship and attack Heartless ships.

Even my 4/5 star might be a bit biased. I am a huge KH and had been anticipating this game heavily, and maybe that was the problem. The prior games, especially the 1st, took me on an emotional journey that this game just couldnt, it was too bogged down in conjecture and exposition. The combat was very fun and the look of the game was amazing, it just didnt quite nail the magic that the earlier games were able to achieve, one that would have left a lasting feeling impression, but unfortunately did not.

Playing KH3 is great. If you loved the gameplay in the previous entries in the series, you'll love this. Story-wise, the Disney stuff seems mostly disjointed from the rest of what's going on with Sora and the gang, but most worlds still keep your interest.
My main issue with the game is that it was originally sold as a finale, but many plot points are left dangling as obvious signs to a sequel of some kind. Looking forward to that game too because I love the series, but not what I expected based on what they originally seemed to build this up as.

I played the first Kingdom Hearts when I was in middle school. I have played and loved every game in the series despite its convoluted and unnecessarily complex story (and often confusing). At its core, the series has always delivered addictive and delightful hack and slash gameplay.
I am now in my thirties and I couldn’t have been more excited to play Kingdom Hearts III. Was it worth the wait? Not really, but it is satisfying and utterly gorgeous. It is hard to go wrong because it offers a good 20-30 hours of gameplay.

I've been waiting years for this game. I enjoyed the game play but the story's conclusion left a lot to be desired. I loved some of the worlds incorporated - never in my wildest dreams did I think they would have a Pixar world, let alone 2! - but I really didn't care to see another Pirates world. This series will always have a special place in my heart, and I will recommend this game to anyone with caveats.

There are moments of this game that really made me want to keep playing. However, it takes a little bit (3 hours) to really get going. I've never been a KH fan but the hype really got to me for this game. It does feel like (and unfortunately sometimes look like) a PS2 game (particularly some of the characters and the opening Thebes area. I'm 20 hours in and will beat it and am hoping the end will make me feel like it was worth my time.

The game is great, but recommended for players who have played the other games. This story is confusing for Kingdom Vets let alone new players. I would say as a new player if you want to check out Disney worlds via video game on current gen then it will suit your needs. But don’t expect to get what is going on with Sora’s story or who any of the non Disney characters are. For vets it brings some closure to the decade old conflict of Kingdom Hearts. Great graphics and music.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally upon us and delivers on the hype. This game is a perfect addition to the long running series and will surly satisfy all Kingom Hearts fans. This game will come across as highly confusing to newcomers to the series, however by watching summary videos of the past installments onlline, it is possible to get in on the enjoyment as the game provides some context to its ever growing narrative throughout its 35+ hour campaign.

The game is a ton of fun to play (though a bit easier than previous entries), and has gorgeous eye-popping graphics. A must play for fans of the series and Disney-philes. However, the story will make absolutely no sense if you haven't played the previous entries (at least KH1, KH2, Birth by Sleep, and Dream Drop... and maybe also Chain of Memories and 358/2.) Or... watch the included recap videos and just be patient with all the random references.

First off, I have been with this series since the beginning so I am probably very biased. That said, this game is amazing. The same KH every fan loves, but so much more. Graphics are amazing, the music as astounding as always, great story, etc. Whether you’re a fan or a newcomer this game is definitely worth getting. One of the few games I’d be willing to pay full price for and pre-order rather than waiting a few months for the price to drop.

it looks great, but the gameplay is hollow compared to 1 and 2. This game had a lot of potential, but no final fantasy characters.

I had mixed expectations for this game, being it was for my 8 year old. He's a gamer at heart, but usually sticks to Lego, Minecraft, etc. I was unsure if this game would be too complicated (I played square and rpgs...I know how it can be). He is about halfway through the game now, and only needed help with one of the mechanics in the tutorial. This is a great addition to our collection, and I'm happy he's learning another gaming genre.
