Finally, and end to the saga.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is great, but recommended for players who have played the other games. This story is confusing for Kingdom Vets let alone new players. I would say as a new player if you want to check out Disney worlds via video game on current gen then it will suit your needs. But don’t expect to get what is going on with Sora’s story or who any of the non Disney characters are. For vets it brings some closure to the decade old conflict of Kingdom Hearts. Great graphics and music.

Worth the wait!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally upon us and delivers on the hype. This game is a perfect addition to the long running series and will surly satisfy all Kingom Hearts fans. This game will come across as highly confusing to newcomers to the series, however by watching summary videos of the past installments onlline, it is possible to get in on the enjoyment as the game provides some context to its ever growing narrative throughout its 35+ hour campaign.

Beautiful, fun, but for series fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is a ton of fun to play (though a bit easier than previous entries), and has gorgeous eye-popping graphics. A must play for fans of the series and Disney-philes. However, the story will make absolutely no sense if you haven't played the previous entries (at least KH1, KH2, Birth by Sleep, and Dream Drop... and maybe also Chain of Memories and 358/2.) Or... watch the included recap videos and just be patient with all the random references.

Amazing game.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I have been with this series since the beginning so I am probably very biased. That said, this game is amazing. The same KH every fan loves, but so much more. Graphics are amazing, the music as astounding as always, great story, etc. Whether you’re a fan or a newcomer this game is definitely worth getting. One of the few games I’d be willing to pay full price for and pre-order rather than waiting a few months for the price to drop.

Its beautiful trash
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it looks great, but the gameplay is hollow compared to 1 and 2. This game had a lot of potential, but no final fantasy characters.

My Son Loves This
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had mixed expectations for this game, being it was for my 8 year old. He's a gamer at heart, but usually sticks to Lego, Minecraft, etc. I was unsure if this game would be too complicated (I played square and rpgs...I know how it can be). He is about halfway through the game now, and only needed help with one of the mechanics in the tutorial. This is a great addition to our collection, and I'm happy he's learning another gaming genre.

A Playable Story, for better or worse.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perhaps the nostalgia has worn off, or perhaps the creators have lost their touch. I’m not sure. Thirteen years later and this game was kind of just alright. It felt more like interactions between cut scenes more than anything else. The linear paths have returned, recreating a lack of exploration. With all the very beautiful designed Disney worlds, they’re all unnecessary in comparison to the actual story line and have no effect on the plot. My biggest complaints: The Toy Box, Toy Story's world, is a prime example of something that feels wrong about the game. Missing is Zorg or any other villain. In comes Square Enix with their own villains. The level is almost entirely custom to the game, borrowing very little from Toy Story itself. In Rapunzel's world, Kingdom of Corona, she goes from being a formidable companion to just a boring stationary NPC after her hair is cut. In Arandelle, with all her magical capabilities, Elsa isn't a fighter at all. She's barely in it. The final bosses of each world feel like they missed the point of their world's themselves. On top of that, the dialogue still doesn't translate as beautifully as it could given the right writers. Graphically, though, this is one gorgeous game. On the technical spectrum, also incredible. Every move lands right, and there's so much going on too. Also, the The Carribean, the Pirates world, is a breath of fresh air and great with it's ship battles. Overall, I'd give a 7/10. It concludes the story beautifully, but it's less of a game and more of a story with small bouts of game play in between.

Waited my whole childhood for this disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Huge fan of the series since I was a kid. Played KH1, KH: Birth by Sleep, KH: 358/2 Days, KH2, and KH:DDD as well as the short KH0.2: A Fragmentary Passage. A lot of these right before playing KH3, actually. The embarrassingly long overdue direct sequel disappointed me in so many ways. The combat is absolutely fun and the graphics are gorgeous. The level design is the best it has ever been, too. But that is just about all I can say they got right. The plot was terrible. It made little sense, and not because it was confusing (but it definitely is for newcomers), but because you really had to wonder what these characters were thinking during certain situations. The writing was stale and still just as corny. You would think they would have better writing for such a huge game, and after so many years in development. The game was also too easy! I played it on Proud Mode and got through the main game dying only a single time! By the time Square Enix released Critical mode, I had no interest in revisiting this title, even as a big fan. It was too little, too late. SQUARE ENIX and Tetsuya Nomura.... WHAT HAPPENED?! You take over 10 years to release both FFXV and KH3 and THEY:RE BOTH MEDIOCRE TITLES AT BEST! Highly disappointed in you guys. Shorter development cycles please, stronger writing, and give the people what they want. Even the final battle and ending was unsatisfying. I want to cry. P.S. Please don't shove more mediocre DLC down our throats :-(

A great game to conclude the trilogy.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sheer nostalgia of this game series triumphs a lot of the shortcomings (that I've so far noticed) of this game. Sora is still weirdly optimistic despite the grim circumstances, Donald & Goofy are still those friends that encourage him despite all odds, there's (even more!) button-mashing leeway than in Kingdom Hearts II, but the game is still managing to use its charm, updated graphics, and gorgeous set pieces to win us over.

Great game but was it worth the wait?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gameplay for this game is very smooth and fluid and the graphics are nothing to complain about. Fans of the series however may be disappointed because the games doesn't quite live up to the hype the hiatus has created. Don't get me wrong its a great game but with its history of other Kingdom Hearts games it serves as just another entry in the series. Kingdom Hearts II is still superior to this on in my opinion. Like I said, don't get me wrong because this is still a fantastic game. I recommend.

Amazing for Fans of the Kingdom Hearts franchise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game, without any spoilers, is easily one of the better games I've played this month, alongside other AAA titles. It's best played if you're familiar with ALL of the extensive lore between the games - you'll be a bit lost on what the characters talk about throughout the game, just like with their previous games, etc. That put aside, this definitely was worth the purchase. I wish there was a PC release, but I can settle.

Amazing Game that brings out a ton of Nostolgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is incredible. If you played the first two games of the series, you will be hit hard with a heavy dose of nostalgia that will have you missing work to fight alongside Donald and Goofy again. If this is your first Kingdom Hearts experience, you will not be disappointed. Every facet of the game has been improved upon and the updated engine and graphics will not disappoint. An essential game for owners of the PS4.

Love the Kingdom Hearts games
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played all of the Kingdom Hearts games and 3 is as good as the previous versions. It is one of my go to games when I want to take a break from the multiplayer games I play. Kids and adults can all enjoy the game. I am looking forward to seeing how the next version plays on the Switch.

It’s freaking KH3!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your a kingdom hearts fan then you probably have already played this game. It’s a great game in the franchise however if your new to the series it may be a little daunting. The story is very confusing especially for new comers. The gameplay is fantastic, the graphics and effects are extremely good looking, and the story is confusing but great if you have been following along through out the other games.
