I remember playing the first and second game back almost a decade ago but man I don't remember watching a movie instead of playing a game.

The dialog is atrocious. I spend most of my time in cut scenes cringing. Got rid of it pretty quickly, and didn't even bother finishing.

But everything else is bad. The plot is more of a mess than ever. The voice acting is - with notable exceptions - mostly bland and boring. There are NO Final Fantasy characters in this one. The special attacks are repetitive even for a JRPG. None of the levels or plot points connect, because it’s all one-shot episodes - which might be a strength since (as mentioned before) the plot is a mess. I use to LOVE these games. This one was gimmicky and boring. And even the Disney characters don’t have original things to say...you’re just forced into the actual plot of the actual movies, but it’s done so haphazardly that you need to know the scene being referenced to care.
