While the dialogue is cringeworthy as ever, and the story can be confusing, the gameplay is superb. The new attractions and summons are a welcome new feature. The new worlds are really fun too.

Story is fantastic, catches up those that doen't know the full background so you feel like this is now 'your' story to finish, even if you were not there for the start!!

An incredible game. I've been a fan of Kingdom Hearts for over 15 years and the gameplay has never been better.

Gameplay is dull and repetitive and the story can be nonsensical, but the game is gorgeous and being able to traversal the myriad of Disney worlds is a treat.

Are you ready to party like it's 2004? Then Kingdom Hearts III might be the game for you. I'll admit that I'm not a die-hard fan of the series but have always sort of admired it from afar, then never given it a whole lot of attention. I'm a huge JRPG fan, a huge Square fan, and even a huge Disney fan, but ultimately this game does nothing for me. It looks absolutely stunning on Xbox One X – and presumably almost as good on stock Xbox One – but the game feels way too much like a PS2 title to be enjoyable in this day and age. You could have told me it was a 4K remaster of a 15 year old game and I'd have believed you. That said, if you're a fan of the series anyway and want to see how it all comes together, go for it. Sometimes that nagging itch of wanting to know the end of a story makes the suffering worthwhile. That wasn't the case for me.

And excellent games for the kids it has a lot of different characters from the Disney movies

not your normal game. the gameplay controls are a little different and the game style is also not your normal game.

This honestly was a step back from the previous titles. While going through it I found myself bored at times especially in some of the Disney worlds. For example, one of the worlds just retells the plot of the movie rather than have something new. Further, the non Disney story is so confusing and convoluted at this point that it is absurd. I personally would wait for a sale because it was not worth the full price.

The game is okay. It feels like a chore to finish it.
