My wife and I have a newborn who had problems keeping her temperature up, so we had to monitor and record her temperature very frequently. I thought this product would make that easy, but the mobile app would constantly need to re-calibrate the sensor or it wouldn't work. Frustrating... 1 star product until they fix the app

I downloaded the app, plugged this into my phone, and worked at putting this under my squirmy infant’s arm. Once it was there I could not get a read at all. It really told me “It’s too warm. Try again.” With a generic thermometer my baby had a low grade fever. If I could give this product zero stars I would.

Didn’t work to well. Had a very hard time setting it all up. Not constant.

I bought the Kinsa Thermometer after trying endless thermometers on the market. I have a two year old son who HATES getting his temp taken. The Kinsa thermometer has a feature where your child can pop bubbles on the screen while the temp is being taken, and he is now a much calmer kid during that process! He actually will ask to see the bubbles! It also has a feature where you can store all of the temperatures and symptoms under each child's name! No longer will I have to try to remember what the temperature was in the middle of the night when we go to th doctor! I refer this product to ALL of my other mom friends!! You won't be sorry!

Is not compatible with the Samsung S8 phone so I can't really comment.

Kinsa Engineers & Development Team are unable to keep the Android App and Thermometer working when Android updates your phone's operating system. Sad, so very sad and pathetic.

If you are looking for an easy to use thermometer, this is for you. It has so many great features. You can set up different profiles on your phone, so you can track your families temps. This is good when you have multiple children who tend to all get sick at once. I love that you can mark different symptoms as well. My 2 year okd loves popping the bubbles on the screen while he takes his temp. This comes in handy when he is sick and grumpy. The reading is very quick and accurate. I love this thermometer. Our family has gone through so many different thermometers and this is the one we always use and the others are now in a junk drawer. Another great thing is that it works great with my iphone 6 plus!

This thermometer is quite innovative for a surprisingly reasonable price. It can be used to take one’s temperature in three different ways, so ultimately it can be used for every member of the family. I really liked that, in conjunction with the app, I could set up a profile for each family member and save temperature readings to the appropriate profile. I could see this being very useful for someone who needs to keep track of an ill family member’s temperature readings over time, or to track temperature readings (and additional symptoms you can select) over a specific period of time to report back to a doctor. I found the temperature readings to be accurate, which is the most important element of a thermometer, and I liked that the app asks how you are taking the temperature to account for variations on how a fever is determined based on where one’s temperature happens to be taken. It takes a temperature quite quickly as well – in about ten seconds – which is really great for anyone with wriggly kids! I do think that anyone using this has to be relatively tech-savvy though. My mother tried using it with me since she watches my children, and she found having to use it with a phone and an app to be less desirable and not as quick or intuitive than simply using a standard thermometer. But the set up was easy to follow, the thermometer works and doesn’t need any batteries since it plugs right into one’s phone, and the coupons and health tips offered through the app are a pretty cool bonus too. Ok first off the setup pro I is not easy . It a hit and miss . Not worth the money

Returned. Poor instructions. Couldn't get it to perform like it should.

Upon opening up the Kinsa thermometer, I read the instructions. They were clear and easy to follow. I had some difficulty setting up only because I didn't have my volume balanced. The thermometer app walked me through it which was nice if you aren't too tech savvy. I have four children three are three and under and one school age. I was able to use the Kinsa with all of my children very easily and I absolutely love the ability to store the results under a different profile for each child in the Kinsa app. I have gone through many thermometers with so many kiddos, and I can say this is the best one for someone looking for a thermometer with a reasonable price tag. I love that it also comes in a container that can store the plug and thermometer in a compact space for safe storage. Thank you WeeSpring Parent Panel for sending us this great thermometer.

What other thermometer makes temperature taking fun, painless and efficient? My five year olds beg to have their temperature taken so they can play the game. They never complain! It is efficient because it stores the temperatures and the symptoms so you never have to guess how long the fever has lingered or what day the congestion started. AmaZing!

I am pretty satisfied with the app and the ability to track temperatures for each member of my family. My girls liked being able to choose their own character and playing with the bubbles while waiting. The suggestions based on temperature are also a nice feature. Setting up the thermometer was easy, it guides you through it on the app. I like that the app is easy to use, you can make each child a profile and keeps all information organized. You can keep track of temperature, symptoms, notes etc. It gives you helpful information for your child based on age. It comes in a case so you can keep it stored in there along with the cables so you won't lose it. My baby kept moving while it was reading the temperature so I kept having to do it again but it did give me accurate readings. This device and app are so genius I was surprised at how user friendly they were! I love how easy it is to organize and keep track of my entire family's health records, and all in one place. I love that I can keep track of temperatures, pictures (of rashes or sore throats), and also keep notes about antibiotic doses, or any fluctuation in symptoms. My doctor was so impressed she started scrolling the app on my phone herself! The "bubble popping game" on the screen as a temperature is being taken is a favorite of my kids, it keeps them distracted enough to be comforted during the process. I can't stop raving about how amazing this product is - it's revolutionized my household. A MUST have.

I love that the setup and app download was easy and quick. I also love that the cord and Kinsa Stick come in an enclosed case that keeps it all together. The case is small enough that it fits within our medicine cabinet. My 6 year old and 3 year old did great using this and thankfully they loved the bubble pop game as it did seem to take awhile to read their temps. One thing that I wish was still available was the ability to link to our local school. We have the flu going around like crazy right now. Overall, I love the concept of this as it keeps the readings all in one spot so that I don't have to manually write them down to track any changes or log into another app to track them. I LOVE my Kinsa. It not only quickly takes my sons' temperatures when they are sick, but it also logs their temps so I can see their pnumbers throughout an illness. It also has fun bubbles to pop while taking a temp., which helps to entertain the child resistant to having his temperature taken. I have only had one minor issue in the year I have had Kinsa, and customer service was able to quickly effectively help me. double thumbs up!

I got a chance to try this thermometer as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I found that it was very easy to get it set up with the app on my phone and loved the data collection features. The temperature readings seemed accurate and took about the same amount of time as our regular thermometer. My kiddos loved popping the bubbles on the screen as we waited. I was worried that it might be cumbersome to hold the stick and my phone, but the cord was long enough that I could set the phone down. My kids also loved the Sesame characters on the app.
