The Kirby games are constantly trying new things on new platforms, and this is no exception. While not as wildly inventive as it's predecessors, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is different enough to where it's not a retread of previous games, but it doesn't revolutionize the genre. However, like Mario, Kirby has been in some excellent platform games, and this is no exception. It's great fun for all ages, just right on the difficulty, and it has a visual charm that you can't help but love!

I picked up this game because I'm a big Kirby fan and Best Buy put it on sale for $29.99. I was a little leery of the game because it's not the typical Kirby game. You draw a line for Kirby to follow. Once you get used to the controls it's a really fun game.

Just like other Kirby games, that one is pretty fun to play, but is somewhat short. I finished the game within a few days. The graphic is perfect for the game and the control is pretty straightforward.

Kirby's not as easy to control as a ball. Having friends along who play as one of the other characters (who have weapons) definitely makes the boss fights easier.

Awesome graphics, crisp, clean and useful use of the gamepad. Fun game overall. Lots of content for your dollars.

I've been a Kirby fan all of my life and this is a great addition to the Kirby line of games. Just classic Kirby fun!

Kirby is a fun game. It has great graphics and excellent level design. The game is great for adults and kids.

I don't have a problem with the game itself but I question if this is the right platform for it. The graphics are colorful and really liven up the TV. It stinks because you don't get to enjoy them much since your eyes are glued to tiny gamepad screen 99% of the time to control it.

Still the same old kirby fun with a bit of a new twist.

The art style is unique and amazing. Super fun and relaxing as well.

My five year old loves this game. However, I would have like the game a little more if it was longer. Each level takes about 10-15 minutes to pass and that includes getting all the treasure chests, there were a couple of levels that took a little bit longer. I never played the "Canvas" version everybody keeps referring to but I did play the last Kirby that came out on the Wii which was longer and more challenging. The two cons that my son mentioned was the fact he couldn't pick other characters i.e. King Dedede, be another Kirby or the fact you can't absorb other powers.

This game has one of the greatest gamepad play ever, but the issue with that its the only thing you could use to play Kirby and no inhaling enemies for power bust.

Not a typical Kirby game, but if you want something along the lines of the original DS game Canvas Curse then this will satisfy you.

Yes Kirby is finally on Wii U. Nintendo never stops w the best game lineup. So creative& fun for ALLL ages

I'm primarily a fan of traditional Kirby gameplay, but I do like the childish fun that was in this as well. I would still play this even if it's a bit different. Very fun!
