Shane Black has proven himself as a writer time and time again over the years. In his directorial debut, he proves himself a master of both crafts. KKBB has some of the most clever writing in a long time, delivered flawlessly by Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer. This movie is amazingly smart and witty. Though it was given very little publicity, this is one of the best movies of the year.

There's not much that would connect a movie-watcher to "Predator" from "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang", which I think is even more a testament to what Shane Black can offer.
I can't wait for the exposure this film will get after audiences see Shane's take on Iron Man.
This movie lets the actors breath, it gives it a vital energy to everything happening.

Here's another movie that I just stumbled upon when flipping through my movie channels. I was lucky to catch it from the very beginning.
I love film noir and this modern take on the theme was no different.
Kilmer and Downey, Jr. were hysterical together...and Downey's narration was equally humorous.
I highly recommend this flick.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is probably one of the more brilliant scripts in a long time. If you're tired of CGI, big budget movies, and movies that are a rehash of the same ol' same ol', then check out this movie.
You'll be in for clever writing, great acting, and a great 'who-done-it' story. This is a classic that will be enjoyed for many years to come.

This movie is just plain entertaining. Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer are hilarious, and the plot is clever and unpredictable. People who loved Downey Jr. in Iron Man should definately go back and check out this movie.

One of the most clever, smartest "whodoneit" movies to come along in a long time. Shane Black and RDJ are a match made in comedic heaven, and Val Kilmer reminds us all why he's awesome.

Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer's chemistry was astounding. the only down side to this movie is if you aren't a fan of bad language.

If you liked Downy in Iron Man as a smart alleck, watch this flick and you know why he was a perfect fit for the Iron Man movies.
Also a fan of Val Kilmer as Gay Perry.

Michelle Monaghan was the only good thing to this other wise breakneck plot of a crime comedy. Val Kilmer and Robert Downey, Jr. play up with sarcastic talk, but the story is so fast-paced and vague- you don't get it until the third viewing if your still up to the mystery. Problem with this mystery film is that when the mystery unfolds it loses its edge but your too confused with the pace to care.
