Between the low profile, saving me over a foot compared to my old microwave, and the led lights underneath I can finally cook and see my stove top! Also love the brightness and how large the time and numbers are. I do keep forgetting that you have to set it before I shut the door since the panel is inside but I can always push the add 30 sec button if I forget. It’s pricey but I decided to splurge to get what I needed. Now you can see my new tile backsplash too.

I hate to describe a microwave as “ sexy” but this one is low profile and is worth the extra $. Yes, it’s sexy! You don’t microwave a turkey, do you? This Kitchen Aid micro works quicker and better than the “old school” larger models and brands from the ‘70’s!

I was truly debating to add a vent hood to replace the old microwave there but this is a great compromise. We love the slim profile to allow room more bigger pots and a powerful vent hood. The kids think it’s cool and high tech looking. We are happy with purchase.

It’s awesome. We wanted to get rid of our counter microwave replacing it with an over the stove type. We have an older home with less space above the stove than newer homes. This thing fit perfect. It also cools great and the low profile hasn’t been an issue at with fitting anything in. We have other kitchenaid appliances and wanted it to match.

When buying it I had doubts about the size, now installed at home the size is perfect, there is no difference with one of regular sizes, with times I have to put more time to meals than with my previous microwave. Beautiful but no powerful

We had a very old above the stove microwave and when I saw this I knew I had to have it. I absolutely love it. I have only ever used my microwave to reheat items, so this is perfect. The added space above the stove is amazing. .

Love the microwave, works perfectly, looks great in the kitchen. The only recommendation I have is to add a light for the key pad to make it easier to read the numbers and precook functions. But couldn’t be happier with it so far. Thanks! Dale

Bought this microwave to replace an old vent hood after I purchased a new range. I wanted something small but wanted to get my old microwave off the counter. This one was perfect!

This is a solid microwave for the purposes. It gets the job done well, the lighting is sufficient. For us in a tight space, it was perfect. We are very happy so far.

Excellent Microwave and Exhaust Fan super classy looking and high powered fan is awesome

We really like our new microwave. Our old one worked OK but the light was so dim (like a candle). This one has two LED arrays and is really bright. The slim design also help have a clear eye shot to everything we are cooking. We had to add tile to our backsplash since it was much slimmer than our original micro. We did the backsplash and carried the glass tiles up to the vent cover. Best update we have done to date.

Very Disappointed - paid a lot of money for this microwave. And at less than 6 months old with light use, the lettering on the buttons is wearing off. I called KitchenAid (as I've owned KitchenAid appliances for 20 years with no issues). KitchenAid considers this a cosmetic defect and not a manufacturer defect, and that we would have to contact a local repair place ourselves and see if they will order and install a new button at our own expense. This defect makes our microwave look cheap and low quality, and KitchenAid's unwillingness to stand behind their product is even more disappointing.

I bought this microwave in April 2022 for close to $1000. I had the microwave professionally installed, including cutting a hole in the side of my house to exhaust outside. Does it exhaust outside, yes. Does it also blow exhaust air inside at the same time, yes. If you cook something with any sort of smoke or smell it fills the entire kitchen in seconds. Smoke alarms going off etc. I have had service out 3 times for this issue. The service providers have all agreed that the microwave is installed correctly, is exhausting into the kitchen and it shouldn't be. However, that is the way it is designed so there is nothing they can do. Kitchenaid is claiming that the air blowing into the kitchen is from a cooling fan and not exhaust air and functioning as designed (I'm not sure how they have determined that when the technicians are telling them otherwise). I spoke with their highest level of support and was told they aren't going to do anything to help me on this. It's very clear they do not care about their customers and will do every single thing possible to give you the run-around. So long story short, I spent close to $1500 to have a microwave exhaust outside that doesn't. If you want to buy this microwave as an exhaust hood DON'T. Last thing, those who say this thing is quiet, it's not. Even on low you can't have a conversation without raising your voice.

Amazing space saving and what a difference the power is in heating of the food. Super fast and conveniently placed above the stove.

We absolutely love this unit and it is very updated and works better than any we have had!! The sleek really worked for our replacement as the others were too large!!

We have a very small kitchen that is enclosed so We need counter depth appliances, meaning more narrow than standard size. This microwave is amazing and it’s all coated with non stick inside so easy to clean! Opens up my limited counter space too!!

Soo perfect! It tells you Welcome when you open it, and when finished and you open it “enjoy!”. Exhaust fan is very quiet, works as we expected it. Install wasn’t too difficult!
