Doesn't work very well

Bad Welds

Got this in December, all of the welds broke by july. Sat on hold for warranty claim two separate times for over an hour with never talking to a human. Do not buy this compactor. Avoid KitchenAid cheap products all together if you can. Finally gave up and bolted the compactor area together. Zero Customer Service!!!!!

Defective unit...

Kitchenaid sent out a repairman a couple of days later who could do nothing to remedy the problem, so it's replacement had to wait another week (through the Christmas holiday party we had) so it was a major inconvenience. I'm hoping it's replacement does not have the same flaw.

The replacement that was sent was broken upon arrival. These units are terrible. You would think Kitcheaid would have a better product.
