my Husband bought this kitchenaid microwave as an upgrade to our kitchen. This microwave is better than what we had in previous years.

Needs a cookbook and more complete directions for learning how to use the convection oven feature. All I got was a quick use guide. That's why it gets only 4 stars. The microwave works great.

It’s a microwave and convection over. The microwave has a few features I haven’t seen and they work! This includes melt and soften feature for various foods. I had my doubts, but the auto feature worked perfectly. If I had one complaint about Kitchenaid (not necessarily this microwave), they don’t provide a full copy of the owner manual. You have to download it.

Nice-looking microwave with plenty of cooking options. The price was right and the quality not disappointing. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this KictchenAid microwave as a floor display model about a month ago, and so far it's been wonderful. No complaints.

Pros...looks nice. Cons...cooking stuff. bought this unit specifically for the convection oven functionality. My hope was that it would obviate the need to have a separate toaster oven. Wrong. The convection oven function of this unit actually takes substantially LONGER to preheat than my standalone, low-end oven...and takes dramatically longer to preheat than my toaster oven. Yes, I tested them both simultaneously. As a standalone microwave, it is incredibly weak as well. My old lower-end microwave could heat 2 cups of cold water in about 1.5 minutes. This thing takes 2.5 minutes for the same thing. I cook a lot, and all of these things matter. I can only guess that a lot of the positive reviews here are from people pleased with the aesthetic of this unit...as it sure does look nice. But performance is woefully lacking!

Our old microwave died. We didn't like the dinging noise anyway. This one is very quiet. No annoying ding ding ding when things are done.

I love this unit. It is the second one I have owned. When I purchased my new place, I wanted to duplicate my appliances. The team that installed it was very courteous and professional. Several days later when using the night light function, I became aware that the bottom of the microwave was not even and I could see the wires inside the unit. I went to Best Buy and was pleased with the follow up customer service I received.

Very versatile product; bake, steam vegetables, heat food or just make popcorn. The product works great. Beautiful design too.

Our prior OTC microhood (36") stopped working and we needed a new one. However, 36" are extremely hard to find - not really made anymore. We wanted a nice microhood and found the Kitchenaid on sale at BB. Helpful sales advisor, easy transaction and delivered to our door earlier than expected. Install took an hour including new SS 3" side fillers. Works great now. Easy to use keypad, more functions than we really need, but we like the look and interior space of this microwave. For a premium microwave at a good price (on sale) it is hard to beat.
