Have always had KitchenAid products from blenders to dishwashers and everything in between. This microwave was bought along with a new slide in convection oven and french style refrigerator. Everything matches beautifully. The interior of the microwave actually matches that of the refrig. The microwave cooks evenly and the preset reheating settings are great. The ring tones heard when the function is completed is pleasant and not at all irritating as some other reviewers have noted.

This microwave works pretty quite and good size for plate or bowl. can put two dishes in together. Works great for me.

This microwave has done everything promised and is more quiet than the previous one we had. We are very pleased with it.

Good product plus was a good shopping experience. Was looking for a KitchenAid, and while the big box hardware stores listed this on their website, there were none to see and a special order would take six weeks to arrive. Went to Best Buy and lucked into a store which had an in-store Pacific Kitchen and Home. They had just the model I was interested in on display, and delivery was in days, not weeks. Only complaint is that the microwave's work lights are a bit dim.

bought this unit a few weeks ago and are very satisfied with both performance and appearance. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. The fan is a little noisy but there are multiple settings and it's less annoying on the lower speeds.

Wonderful installation and very easy to use. Would buy again.

Not sure how BB is able to have all of their staff so helpful without being pushy, knowledgeable & patient. Associates helped me find an Open Box in the model I wanted. Were truly happy for me that open box was in perfect condition. Wrapped it securely, & carried it to my car in good cheer. Happy happy BB Super Fan!

We recently got a Kitchen Aid 5-door Refrigerator, full of brtigt, impressive LED lighting. So when our OTR microwave failed, we got a matching stainless KitchenAid OTR. We are pleased with it's performance, but it came with dim, yellow incandescent lighting. So we immediately bought 2 replacement appliance LEDs. It works fine for the interior light, but the LED below has an annoying flicker when off.

Large interior and very sleek We mostly use for popcorn and reheating leftovers - works great for both and faster than our previous over-the-stove microwave.

I replaced a 20 y/o Kitchen Aid microwave with this model. Sadly it is not of the same quality as the first one. On the plus side, it looks stylish except for the big “Kitchen Aid” decal on top of the unit. The exhaust fan seems powerful. Unfortunately the build quality is not the same as the last one. The door doesn’t have that solid sound when closed like the South Korean brands. The interior walls are super thin sheet metal. They give you the feeling that if you put a plate in too fast and hard you could dent the wall. The range light has been moved to the back, instead of near the front where it belongs. As such is does only an adequate job of illuminating the stove top. The interior light is another matter; it is totally inadequate and barely illuminates the food being cooked. Why have a light at all with this capability? The touch panel seems to be the same that was used on my older model. It takes some pressure to register an entry. It is not a modern light touch screen as found on a cell phone, for example. The “dinner plate” function seems to be totally different from my original microwave. It now overcooks the food. My older model was superior in this function. Put a plate in, hit the button and the food came out perfect. Not anymore. One day I heated my dinner and later that night saw the display screen was dark. It tried the touch panel and the unit was not responding. The range light worked so I knew the unit had power. So I did the standard remedy of unplugging the unit, waiting a minute, then plugging the unit back in. That brought the unit back to life. This problem happened only once so far. I am not sure what happened. Perhaps some kind of software “bug”. Overall, this unit seems cheaply built. And I believe it is built in China. It should have much better attributes for the price. I definitely will not buy Kitchen Aid again.

Very easy to operate Has multiple ways to cook and reheat foods. Easy to keep clean.

It’s a microwave nothing over the moon! It does it’s purpose! 4stars because is hard for me to read the buttons, I could read my previous microwave perfectly even at night time! It was a different brand. But that doesn’t happen with this; I have to use my phone light to use this microwave!

07-17-2020 @ 06:11 PM EDT .. Installation was not too easy. An anchor nut had been dislodged requiring the metal casing be removed / replaced with the nut put back in place [cost me an extra hour $30 charge]. The electric cord just barely reached the outlet as the vent wood housing had to be modified. An extra 6 inches of cord would have solved the problem. Otherwise the unit is working properly !!
