Love my Kitchen Aid Side by Side. Much more functional than my previous French Door. Love the no fingerprint finish. Super easy to clean and stays looking good. Has a high end look.

This product looks great. The ice maker really kicked in after a week or so, but the refrigerator side freezes my produce constantly. This is a big money waster for me. I have the temp set to 37°. I'm still trying to figure how to not waste my produce. Other than that it's fine.

The refrigerator was delivered and installed as planned. We really like the LED lighting and also the space in both the refrigerator and freezer. Working great!

KitchenAid has traditionally been the top of the Whirlpool Brand badging. Let me begin by saying that it took three attempts to get a refrigerator with a working icemaker that was not patched together holding the temperature sensor with a nylon tie wrap Because of a broken plastic holder and not functioning either. additionally the Cheap grade plastic drawers aren’t even on bearings almost guaranteeing the drawers to bond & break without very careful opening and closing. The door shelves being made of similar cheap plastic also offer very limited options for mounting according to size needs. One more thing about quality of build is the inexcusable Assembly quality in mounting the waterlines and electrical cables at the bottom of the fridge. Although the metal retainer piece was present it was not mounted carefully enough such that rolling it on my brand new cushioned plank flooring cost it to gouge the flooring. This cost quite a bit of additional time & money to replace those planks and the installation. On the positive side this refrigerator is very quiet when the compressor runs and I like the measured water dispenser feature which apparently has become nearly standard on all such competitive products but didn’t exist on my eight-year-old LG French door refrigerator. Quality issues appear not to be limited to the KitchenAid fridge only since all our appliances were KitchenAid the wall up and came with a dent on the control panel and I have made two attempts to have this part replaced only to find they keep sending the wrong color part. I cannot understand how the model and serial number of these appliances don’t better defined a color for a warranty replacement part I can only imagine how poorly they would execute an extended warranty in having you pull your hair out for five an additional years until that warranty ran out! So far, the KitchenAid cooktop and dishwasher seem to be working okay and the dishwasher is incredibly quiet as advertised.

Love it. BUT - the fridge side door protrudes about 1/4 more than the freezer door! It therefore looks uneven/odd. Wish we had known prior to purchase!

Side by side selection keeps getting slimmer, French door is all the rage. This is probably the best counter depth side by side out there. It’s still a high end side by side and not a bottom model offered by the other brands. We hated the freezer on our French door it was just a bucket where everything got stacked on top of each other. This fridge is more organized and gets cold. Ice maker is in the freezer where it belongs and works great. Have a slight issue leveling the doors but hopefully that gets worked out soon. Love this fridge and features so far.

Love this fridge it has lots of space and the controlled drawers in the fridge keep the veggies fresh. I got it open box for a really good price. Its in perfect condition and works great

One of the best counter depth refrigerators. It has water filer, fresh activation for keeping produce more fresh. Tempurature controls located on ice/water door side which makes it convenient.

Looks great in our kitchen. Has nice features and is easy to use. The Best Buy installers did a great job and it fits perfectly. Nice to see that buy America is working again. For years, the foreign manufactures seemed to be coming out with better products that the Americans. Seems that thing have swung back and our US manufacturers have now caught up and are making better quality products. I remember when refrigerators lasted for 10 years or more. Today, you are lucky if you get five before problems erupt. The imported stuff seems to be falling apart even faster. So far so good! Smart purchase.

recommend this product as a counter depth refrigerator for reasons of practicality and looks

We replaced all our 15-year old KitchenAid appliances with new models. We also bought a 3 year extended warranty on this refrigerator and I am glad we did. The first fridge lasted for 2 days and water was leaking. It was due to the 3rd party installers that Best Buy uses. The 2nd fridge (the replacement) had issues with the water dispenser after the 4th day of use. Whirlpool came out and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. The fridge is working perfectly now. Hope this fridge as well as the other KitchenAid appliances we bought for our kitchen lasts for 15 years.

I bought this to replace a 17 year old version by KitchenAid of the exact same refrigerator that was on its last legs. It has an attractive design and well lit inside but there are a couple areas that could improvement. 1). the ice maker is noisy and the dispenser is difficult to operate. 2). not enough shelves or bins in both the refrigerator and freezer, and there is room for more. I ordered another shelf for the refrigerator side and it helped a lot but the cost is about $150 / shelf. The door bins are not currently available but cost about the same price. 3) The flat front finish is attractive with an upscale modern look but DENTS EASILY.

Nice and quiet. Excellent temperature control for both freezer and refrigerator. Overall interior layout is very good for a side-by-side model.

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a Samsung french door. First off, there are not enough shelves. Had to order three--one for fridge, freezer and door. Additional expense not expected. Going from a bottom freezer I thought would be better--not losing stuff. That is true, but I don't have as much space on either size. If I'd gone from another side-by-side, I would probably like it a lot more. Love the counter depth.

Four Star because i had to return after the 1st one was defected. Kitchenaid is overall great just not our first experience.

Would recommend this fridge, love the entire Kitchen Aid package! This is a nice side by side model that looks sleek and is highly functional.
