    2 weeks in, defective fridge & banged up walls

    Installers dented and tore shards out of my kitchen doorframe when rolling the fridge into the room. Poor dude was super-apologetic and explained that Best Buy will take the charges for repairing the doorframe (and wall scratches) out of his paycheck. Thats pretty Evil of Best Buy imo. I was still debating what to do regarding the repairs when, 1.5 weeks into my new fridge, a LOUD high-pitched whistling noise intermittently starting coming from somewhere in the fridge. I'm told this is a control panel issue and the thing needs to be replaced. Best buy online agent took 45 minutes to finally tell me I have to call the local store. Local store isn't answering the phone. I just spent $6,000 on appliances and installation. Note: dishwasher was improperly installed. Plumber looked at it and is quoting me $500 to fix the installation mess. Frustrated. Not happy. I do not recommend using Best Buy.
