    Avoid at all costs. Had the fridge for less than 4 years and now it's dead. Compressor, Freon, you name it. Looks great but failed miserably. Unrepairable.

    Looks and a high price tag and deceiving

    Fridge looks great and that is about it......for a $4500 fridge, it performs poorly and as I am about to find out, cost a fortune to fix. The ice maker has never worked that great, now it doesn't work at all. Repairman is saying it is not the icemaker but possible the motherboard (1 of 2) and if it is not that, then the compressor is bad. Meaning the whole fridge is an issue.

    Wider is Better

    Whirlpool stopped selling parts

    The fresh food area stopped cooling freezer works. Repair company stated needs control panel. Whirlpool stated they stopped manufacturing this critical part. Tried secondary market no one can get it either. Am I now out $4,500 after 2 years? Because manufacturer stopped making and selling the control panel. What recourse do I have?

    This is a gorgeous refrigerator and the interior is beautifully designed. Unfortunately it has broken down 6 times in the last 3 years. And three of those times were in the last 6 months. The interior temperature gets too high and food spoils. We have given up and I won’t buy another Kitchenaid refrigerator even though the rest of my appliances are Kitchenaid. So disappointing!

    Kitchen Aid is overpriced crap

    Spent $4k because we wanted a nice refrigerator. 5 Services calls, rude customer service and a warranty expiration later, our fancee refrigerator stopped working at <2 years old. The company's MO is to string you out until the year is up and then tell you to get bent. They know their products suck, and they aren't about to replace them. If you must buy from this brand, you better budget to buy 2 because odds are the first one won't work. And God help you if you get on the service call Merry-Go-Round.

    Icemaker failed for the 3rd time - Damaged Floor

    Icemaker leaks water and damaged my wood floor. This is the 3rd icemaker. I wanted to return the fridge when the first icemaker failed, but I was told I was one day too late. Stuck with a lemon. I do not recommend a through the door icemaker, especially from Kitchenaid.

    Do not buy. Ice maker poor design.

    Please avoid this product. At the 16 month mark after installation, ice maker failed. Probably bad from the start as it was always slow to make ice and ran out often. Recommend another brand. Infinite hold at Kitchenaid service line. Very expensive repair locally at my expense. So disappointed. Please look elsewhere.

    Really bad Fridge for $

    30 days in with purchase already 2 warranty calls on fridge. Wanted to return to best buy and get new one but fridge is on back order. The fridge and freezer cooling functions have both failed. Kitchen Aid warranty service not very friendly and whatever you have in fridge/freezer is at your loss $

    A really bad refrigerator!

    Bought this refrigerator on March 2019. Now, the refrigerator does not cool and the parts are back ordered for 3 months now. Can't believe a $4000+ refrigerator will break in 2 year! DO NOT buy this.

    Too many repairs

    Constant issues with this fridge. The fridge compartment keeps icing up under the deli tray. This eventually leads to poor cooling. Repaired 3 times for this issue. Ice maker also has issues. Not acceptable for a $4k+ fridge.

    Kitchen Aid Failed in products & Service

    We have received this product in 2017 and since 2020 It was leaking water underneath the drawer and back of the refrigerator. We have spent more than 800$ on a repair with an authorized Kitchen Aid repair company, and finally, they diagnosed the unit is not repairable. Now Kitchen Aid is asking us to pay an additional $3000 to exchange the unit. What a bummer! Never ever recommend this product to anyone.

    Looks great but not made well

    We got this fridge in January 2017 the ice maker already had to be replaced in June and now the entire fridge and freezer isn't working and the part is on backorder we have now been living out of coolers for a week and still have another week to wait for the part to be available not what you would expect from a new refrigerator I would not recommend this fridge to anyone it's not worth the money

    The worst purchase I have ever made in my life, I regret having bought in this store that has the worst service I've ever seen, they treat you the worst and lie to you about the condition and quality of the products they sell.     Can't be repaired after only 17 months of use

    Do not buy from Kitchenaid. We bought this refrigerator and it was defective from the beginning. We had several service calls within 17 months for the same problem, blocked drain. Freezer ice froze into a solid block of ice in less than 24 hours, water stopped working on the door several times and water leaked into the refrigerator. Finally after 17 months the warranty repair person said it was unfixable. Of course, after 17 months we also only got 75% of the cost of the refrigerator so we lost $1500 on a refrigerator that didn't work right from the beginning. When I called Kitchenaid to complain - they said they could do nothing. So poor quality and poor service from the manufacture. Don't buy a Kitchenaid

    Issues: Fridge is very noisy. To hear the loud electronic buzzing noise ask the floor person to take it out of showroom mode. This noise goes away when the fridge is put in energy saving mode. (but that causes lots of condensation dripping by the door.) The flap between the french doors doesn't always retract. We had a service performed to replace the part but it didn't fix the problem. To reproduce open the right door the slowly open the left door. Then close the right door first. Now the left door will not close!!! (this is really lame)

    Unless you ENJOY having to call the service repair guy every few months, & clearing 4 hr windows of time each time he comes out, Do NOT buy this Fridge! Yes, it's pretty, with it's wood trim &pretty lights, but Whirlpool (makes Kitchen Aid) has not ironed out the kinks on this fridge (referred to as the Bella in the industry).The repair guy even told me not to replace with the Bella2 because it'll have just as many problems as my Bella 1. You will be so disappointed with this fridge. My parents have a similar kitchenAid, I just visited them in FL, & it was not working. I came home, and MY fridge was Deemed IRREPAIRABLE &whirlpool had to refund me my $$$$ in full. I am looking for another brand to go with my range and dishwasher
