Customers highly value the 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher's quiet operation and excellent cleaning performance. Many appreciate its ease of use and spacious interior, while some find the third rack less useful than expected. Positive feedback also highlights the dishwasher's attractive design and stainless steel construction. A few users reported reliability issues after a period of use.

Not durable for the price! Disappointed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this dishwasher back in Apr of 2017. We had to use our Geek Squad benefit within the 1.5 years to replace the motor. That is just not good for the price on this machine. Now the machine broke down again, the Geek Squad plan is expired and I am stuck with a dud at 3 years of purchase. I know equipment doesn't last forever, but for spending this much on the "best available" at the time, 3 years is just too short for two major repairs. It just seems the product is low quality and it doesn't justify the price. If I could give zero stars, I would. To the Kitchen Aid people: This was my 3rd Kitchen Aid purchase because I love your brand of dishwashers. Not this time, not worth the money. I don't know what happened, but your quality is just not the same. What is worse, I have no options as a customer and that is just not cool.

Heat Dry doesn't function properly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Silverware basket and walls of dishwasher are still wet after using heat dry; even when unloading the following morning. Have had many dishwashers and never this problem. Customer service couldn't care less. No problems so far other than drying problem.

Not designed for serviceability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two weeks before our 1-yr manufacturer's warranty expired, the upper tray bracket broke. It seems like the sliders are welded together. Poorly designed for a $1,000 dishwasher. Service tech had to remove floor molding, and our electrician had to remove our LED kickboard accent lights as the entire unit had to be pulled out. Whirlpool engineers and product designers obviously never designed these appliances to be easily serviced. Not impressed.

Posted .At KitchenAid, we are constantly working to improve our appliances and our service, and it is only through feedback from customers like yourself that we are able to do so. We have documented all of the concerns you have mentioned, for review by our managers and engineers. Our managers and engineers do regularly review our files, to look for areas in which we can improve our products. However, we do not recommend, blocking the dishwasher with floor molding aor adding LED lights to the exterior of the dishwasher. Thank you, KitchenAid® Social Media Relations Team
