We had the previous model in our last home so when we got our new house and it had another brand it was an obvious choice to upgrade to the Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The other one was a Whirlpool and did fine cleaning, but it was loud and it’s drying cycle didn’t dry dishes at all. We have 4 young children and go through a lot of dishes so the addition of the third rack just further enables us to maximize the capacity and wash as many dishes as possible.

I think this is a great dishwasher. It does a great job and is by far the quietest dishwasher we have ever had.

The price was reasonable; the delivery and installation timing was excellent. We are happy with the washer-quiet, good cleaning action, 3rd rack is very useful, attractive finish-but I'd prefer to have the silver tray across the front so I don't have to pull out the bottom rack every time. I use the rinse cycle each night if the washer isn't full that day and dishes are coming out clean

This dishwasher replaced a 14 year old KitchenAid unit that finally died. The FreeFlex third rack is a very useful feature. It can accommodate long items like tongs with ease. The unit is so quiet, you hardly hear it when in operation. So far, the unit is functioning to our satisfaction.

So far I love it. It’s quiet and actually dries the dishes. It sits a little lower than my previous dishwasher so I’m getting used to that. I’m very happy with it

We replaced a 15 year old Frigidaire dishwasher with this KitchenAid and are very happy with it. It is so quiet that you can hardly tell when it is running. One feature that sold us on it when we saw it in our Best Buy store is the third shelf. This is a top shelf that is perfect for glasses and cups. It has proven to be even more useful that we thought it would be.

This is a great dishwasher. It is quiet. It is sleek. It doesn't absolutely fantastic job at cleaning. Even the dirtiest dishes. We could not be happier with our purchase. The flexibility of the shelf heights is an added bonus that we use frequently.

VERY quiet with a classy look. Love that the top (third) rack can hold 10 glasses (5 tall, 5 short) in in addition to all the glasses that can be placed on the middle rack -- I don't have to run this dishwasher as often due to the extra space for glasses on the third rack! The delay start is also a nice feature. This unit does have an LED light to let you know when the dishwasher cycle is complete.

I was able to install this dishwasher myself with relative ease. It is very quiet and does an excellent job of washing the dishes. The rack configuration makes it very easy to get a lot of dishes in it for a load. It is also extremely quiet.

Pretty quiet and nice third rack feature. It does take a while to run a cycle. But overall good.

This is a great dishwasher the 3rd rack is a game changer it its perfect for small bowls or glasses. It cleans very well my glasses always sparkle and it very quiet. great purchase.

Our old Kitchenaid dishwasher (only 5 years old!) kept needing repair and it was time to replace it. I didn’t want another Kitchenaid, but the pandemic supply chain gave us limited choices, and we were able to get this one in just a few days! I Love the third rack, Cleaning and drying are top notch, which is why we fell in love with Kitchenaid the first time. I got a five year warranty just in case.

There is nothing I dislike about this dishwasher. Cleans excellent. Quite. Lots of room

Very pleased with the quietness and the use and flexibility of the third rack on this dishwasher. The cleaning and drying are first rate. It is definitely the best dishwasher I have ever owned and well worth the purchase price.

This replaced our Electrolux dishwasher that died. It's not as quiet, but cleans so much better. The dishes really sparkle and there is no water left in the bottom of the unit. This was an issue we had previously that caused mildrew problems. Love the front light that is blue while cleaning, then goes to red while drying and then white when finished. It also holds so much more than our previous dishwasher. Just love it!!!

We are happy with this purchase but there are 3 things I am disappointed with. 1. The top rack utensil tray is designed for flatware but unfortunately it does not clean well. The top spray arm is so small I don’t think enough water comes out to appropriately rinse the items. We don’t even use it anymore. (The cup side of the top rack works great.) 2. The wine glass holders do not work because the middle rack is not tall enough to fit a standard wine glass; this was very upsetting. Even with the middle rack in its lowest adjustable position, the base of the glass hits the top rack. After looking back at the original photos, the wine glasses pictured look shorter than average which is frustrating. Major design flaw. 3. Most of our dishes still come out wet. Even with the added vent to this particular model, and heat dry selected, 50% of the dishes still have to be hand dried. I understand this is a common complaint among dishwashers period, so this is semi-expected. Other than that we are very pleased. I also recommend always using the ProWash. We were lucky enough to have a demonstration by our installation associate. The machine “learns” how clean/dirty your dishes typically are and cycles the water appropriately. Even though it is a 3-4 hour cycle, it seems to be the most efficient and our dishes come out very clean (with the exception of the top rack utensil tray previously stated). It is incredibly quiet and does repel fingerprints well.
