It runs nice and quiet. You can't adjust the back legs when you get it in and you can't get it back out if you do get the back legs adjusted. leveling it is the hardest thing to do.

Like the dishwasher overall because it cleans the dishes but no worse or better than my old cheap base model of a different brand, but the handle fell off after less than 2 months and I was told I couldn’t exchange it for the pocket handle model because I bought it on sale and it was more more expensive. Geek Squad told me to contact the manufacturer after calling and being transferred and put on hold, the manufacturer told me to schedule a service which I’d have to pay for. I’m stuck with a dishwasher I can’t open and now can’t even return. The steam from the blower also aims directly at the wood floor and dampens it, which I don’t love. It’s an average dishwasher that you pay premium price for. Pay a little more and go for a true premium brand or save yourself some money and buy a cheap model by the same parent company.

Thank god for the KitchenAid Dishwasher at 44dba. We went from a dishwasher that was extremely loud to one that we barely hear. We are very happy. Only irritation is the drain hose if you need more length is only available on KA's site. None of the big box stores had drain hoses that would work with this dishwasher.

The delivery was excellent. On time, professional, friendly. However, we now notice the heating element is not working and likely has never worked.

I love the position of the three racks, how the exterior looks and how clean my dishes are. The negatives I have are fixable and will hopefully be resolved. The Best Buy installer did not put the sound barrier on when they installed it so it was quite loud for a new dishwasher. It also had an annoying hum. Kitchen aid repair came out and found that something else was working harder than it should also creating more noise. They are coming back to fix both problems and I have to say they have been easy to deal with. If these things are resolved, I will update my review.

Love the top rack for coffee mugs. A real space saver. Super quiet and my dishes are amazingly clean.

The design/features is what made us purchase this dishwasher. All were 5 stars except the 44dBA aspect. It was louder than we as compared to our previous dishwasher which had a slightly louder dBA. This explains the 4 vs 5 star rating. Regardless it’s still a nice machine and we would still recommend it.

We decided to get this dishwasher after looking at several others. I was impressed with the overall quality from the handles to the inner stainless steel liner It seemed like higher quality materials compared to others. We've only used it a few times and it cleans the dishes far better than the 10+ year old whirlpool gold we've replaced it with.
