Unfortunately, we can't recommend this dishwasher to anyone - it looks good, cleans okay, and the internal design is efficient. BUT it makes loud, weird moaning and gasping noises, like a dying animal, which can be heard from two rooms away! The noises are very distracting and we can't run this dishwasher if we have guests in the house because they all comment about the noises. At first we thought we got a lemon device, so we asked Best Buy to replace it. Kudos to Best Buy, they swapped it out for a new identical model within one week. However, the newly installed dishwasher also has the same exact loud noises, so we know this is just a poor design from the manufacturer. Very disappointed in KitchenAid.

Check depth measurement before buying. May be slightly deeper than other machines. Very simple, elegant exterior.
