    Worst dishwasher... had this less 6 months already not working. Called whirlpool/ kitchen aid part to fix machine on back order been 6 weeks already still not fix. Bad float sensor the tech that came out said they have big issue with this....

    This our 3rd kitchen aid dishwasher and each one starts having issues after a year or two after use. The first dishwasher stopped draining water after 13 months and since it was out of warranty we had to pay $300 for the repair. We moved to a new home and had kitchenaid dishwasher installed there. Within 2 years, there was a major leak which damaged our hardwood floor and kitchen cabinets and we had to spend $20,000 in repair. The dishwasher leak was fixed, but it started leaking again after a month. At this point we decided to replace it with a brand new kitchedaid dishwasher. We were hoping it was just bad luck and all appliance to be from the same brand. Now after 15 months, the new dishwasher's motor has gone bad and the it would cost $800 to fix it and and we would need to wait for atleast 2 months for the parts to be available. The replacement motor is almost as much as a dishwasher and we cannot be without a dishwasher for that long. We are replacing the dishwasher for the 3rd time now and will be getting a different brand. I would never buy another kitchenaid appliance again.

    DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER!!! Had it for about 5 months, and then it stopped working. They say it needs a new "sump assembly" but KiotchenAid cannot get the part! It is out of stock and on backorder, with no idea when or if they will be able to get the part. And KitchenAid so far refuses to get me a new one or refund my money, yet here I sit with a broken and unfixable brand new KitchenAid dishwasher, waiting for a part with no indication when the part might arrive. I know, covid supply chain issues. I get it. BUT, a brand new dishwasher should not fail after only 5 months! DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER!!

    Loved this dishwasher, until it started leaking. Kitchenaid Dishwasher Model: KDTM604KBS, I paid 1500 last August. It started leaking, welding failed at the back case. Since February they have sent me 4 cased, all damaged. They said the warranty says it will repair, not replace. I have been without a dishwasher 3 months. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The repair company cannot believe they keep spending the money to ship a large package 4 times. I will never have a Kitchenaide appliance again. You shouldn't either. Tried to buy American.... Best buy couldn't help because it is in the 1st year and the manufacturer must fix for first 12 months.

    This dishwasher is louder than expected and the spinner doesn’t clear the plates. I got the run around from Best Buy on how to deal with the issue since in my mind I thought I had a service contract with Geek Squad. One of the Geek Squad said I could do a return exchange. I was put through to sales to discuss another model. I was then put to someone in Geek Squad to set up installation date. It was only then that I was told my window for return exchange was past and I would have to contact Kitchen Aid. He offered to connect me and after being on hold for OVER an HOUR I hung up. Went online and scheduled and appointment. This all happened last Friday and the soonest they could come is Next Tuesday . So, not happy with any of the service at Best Buy or kitchen aid.

    This is our second dishwasher of the same brand, make , and model. The first dishwasher was defective. It didn’t heat dry. It was replaced with the same model KitchenAid dishwasher. The second dishwasher worked fine for about a month and then the same thing happened again! It stopped heat drying our dishes! We will replace the second dishwasher with a different KitchenAid make and model. Thank goodness we happened during our 4 week warranty period!

    This dishwasher hums the entire time it is operating, thus making it very noisy. When using the ProDry option, the fan runs for hours after the cycle is complete. At times, there is water left on the door and utensil caddy. Kitchenaid sent one very rude repairman to check out the various issues. He claimed there was nothing wrong. The customer agent I spoke with finally found data that said "the fan in some models will run 8 hours after the dry cycle is complete." Obviously, this model is one whose fan runs for hours. Not very energy efficient. This is my fifth Kitchenaid dishwasher. I will not buy another. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL!

    After waiting 6 weeks for the dishwasher to get in stock and be delivered it worked for a grand total of 2 weeks. So of course one day outside of Best Buy’s “generous” 14 day return period it turns out we had to go through warranty repair. It needs an entirely new motor and the technician said it’s a common problem. Only problem is there is an indefinite wait for the motor to be available and it could be months. So we now own a stainless steel paper weight that was used less than 10 times. Spend your money one something else!

    the black stainless steel dishwasher has never been delivered. Instead they delivered and installed a silver stainless steel dishwasher and I have attempted 3 times to get this corrected to no avail.

    We had a wonderful experience, scheduling the installation. However, three weeks after it was installed, we started getting error messages. It no longer works. I have been trying to get somebody from Best Buy total tech to come by and take a look. Hoping that works out as I currently don’t have a dishwasher and obviously I’m a bit frustrated since it’s only three weeks old.
