So far we are loving the ovens. Cook really well, clean easily. The light is very bright inside. Love the blue color inside. The pull out shelve is great for reaching items without getting burnt. Only negative I have is the extra setting to convert recipes is annoying every time.I previously had a convection oven so I am used to it and don't need recipies to be converted. The touch screen is very sensitive and I have hit buttons when reaching into the cabinet above. We built cabinets per the specifications listed for this item and it went into the space just fine. The kids favorite spot to be on a cold evening is in front of the oven it blows out nice warm air.

I purchased an older model of these ovens 5 years ago at our previous home. When we moved this summer, our new home had a single Thermador oven. Even though it is a more expensive oven, it did not compare with the KitchenAid I owned that was 5 years old. We recently purchased these ovens and they are wonderful. They are large enough to hold 6 13 x 9 pans and the convection feature works beautifully. I highly recommend these ovens.

Love it. It fits beautifully in our kitchen. We've found the convection to be quiet and really great. The fit was perfect, exactly as described in the specs. The bottom vent gets really warm. I wouldn't say dangerously hot but it's warm enough that I jokingly talk about turning the cookie sheet drawer underneath the ovens into a warming drawer. Installation by Best Buy was a breeze. We had done a good job prepping the space for them but still, it was fast, they were clean, and it was super easy.

This KitchenAid double oven is easy to use and packed with features. It’s a true convection and has a huge amount of cooking space. It also has that cool blue enamel interior.

This is an amazing oven in every way. The double convection and three racks gives me so many options! The food comes out 1000 times better than in my old oven. It looks sleek and it’s very quiet too. I love the ability to convert recipes for convection and the oven turns off automatically at the perfect time. The alert chime is soft and sophisticated. It was expensive, but Best Buy had the best price and quickest availability of all the appliance stores I checked. The installers were quick and knowledgeable. This oven was worth every penny!

Love the space! Purchased it based on experience using a Kitchenaid Range. Ive always had good experiences with Kitchenaid. Easy to use controls. I do a lot of baking and get the best uniformity ive had using this. Heat is even. Easy to clean. Chime is very audible.

Severe Issues and Poor Customer Service

I strongly recommend avoiding KitchenAid’s double wall ovens. We spent over $10,000 on KitchenAid appliances for our new construction home, and these ovens have been a complete disappointment. In just 10 months of living in our new home, with fewer than a dozen uses, we’ve encountered two major problems: 1. Temperature Issues: Both ovens drop temperature drastically during use, regardless of whether one or both are in operation. This makes it impossible to cook anything reliably. KitchenAid admitted this could be due to a defective control panel and agreed to send a replacement part, however for but for a new oven to have this issue and the next issue is unacceptable. 2. Paint Chipping: Both ovens have significant paint chipping on the interior—large flakes of paint are peeling off, some ending up in our food. Despite this being a clear safety hazard, KitchenAid dismissed it as a “cosmetic issue.” Their response? They suggested I cover my food while cooking to avoid paint chips. KitchenAid refuses to replace the ovens and has only offered a 20% discount on purchasing a new unit—this after admitting the control panel may be defective and after seeing the attached photographic evidence of the extensive chipping. They claim they don’t address cosmetic issues after 30 days, ignoring the fact that this goes beyond a cosmetic issue and into safety concerns. I’m deeply disappointed with KitchenAid’s lack of accountability. For the price paid, I expected far better quality and service. These ovens are essentially unusable, and KitchenAid’s refusal to stand by their product is shocking. I’m sharing this to help others avoid the financial burden and frustration of purchasing this product. I also urge KitchenAid to reconsider their stance and take responsibility for a dangerous and defective product.

Great looking, but door seal is not great.

WARNING! The spec sheet for the finished dimension of this oven is wrong. It is actually 3/4" shorter than what the spec sheet says. This required a 3/4" shelf to be built on-site during the installation, to make it fit. The installation guy was great and took care of it for me. The oven itself is very nice looking, but the doors don't seal as well as they should and steam leaks out of them, which exposes the touch panel to moisture. As others have noted, this could be a major issue and I would recommend that you use the lower oven when cooking food with a higher moisture content. What I really like: touch pad layout is very intuitive and easy to use and the oven has a clean design, with a blue interior that really pops. It's very quiet in terms of fan noise when operating.

    Worst Appliance I've ever purchased

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I'm trying to understand how over 500 reviews on this product is still showing it as a good product. This is a horrible wall oven. I have spent a lot of time looking and reading reviews from others and honestly should be seeing just a one star for this product. We purchased ours about a year ago and quite honestly it's hit or miss anytime we use it. Regardless of the top or bottom oven. Forget using both ovens at the same time because it will not happen. Anytime the least amount of steam gets up into the control panel, the oven shuts off. I have been so embarrassed several times when guests are around and trying to cook meals and the oven just shuts off on you. As somebody mentioned it's a terrible design flaw to have a big opening to the circuit board right where the steam comes out off. Almost like the appliance was designed to fail. Over $3,000 for this piece of garbage and I can't even cook with it. First time I purchased KitchenAid and Definitely not ever going to buy another or recommend it to anyone. Sad part is, I had seen one in somebody's house and it looked beautiful. I should have read more about it before buying it. I'm sure I'll be told to replace the circuit board on my own dime. Just terrible terrible terrible

Just an awesome oven. We wnated the convience of gas for our cooktop and dry heat of electric for our oven and this oven gave us just that. Loads of space too. Nice high end finishing and quality that youd expect from a made in the US product. Weighs 300 lbs so recommend a professional install.

I picked this unit because I have had very positive results with other KitchenAid appliances. I installed it myself, and it was relatively easy. It's a two-person job because of the weight, but it wasn't an overly complicated task. I has more features available than I think I might need, but better too many than not enough.
