    Microwave door sensor went bad after a few months

    Microwave wouldn't turn on, claiming the door is open, even though it was closed. Repairman showed up, but wasn't able to fix the issue because the entire 500-pound unit had to be removed from the cabinet to access the small sensor mounted at the front. As far as why the designers thought this was a good idea is beyond me. Marketing dept. at Whirlpool obviously doesn't care about post-purchase serviceability. To this day we're waiting for two repairmen to show up with harnesses in order to remove the 500-lb unit from the cabinetry and replace the door sensor. Absurd for a $4000 appliance (what we paid at the time).

    poo design and Poorly installed, not isolated properly, we have a drawer right below the oven and need to be careful not to get burnt there.

    I would not buy again. The light in microwave does not let you see inside while it is on. The sound is so soft when it turns off you can't hear it. All necessary to me.

    It was delivered on time and in good condition! It was purchased as part of our kitchen project that is going on now and into the next couple of months while we are out of the house. We feel confident that it all will work well wh we n we need it in a few months.

    It’s really pretty but I tried to use the microwave for the second time today & I received an error that the inverter was not responding. Really disappointed since we’ve had it less than a month! Now have to have a tech come out to fix it. So annoying!

    Spent 4700$ for this product and it had no directions included on how to use the oven or how to use the microwave!!!! Only instructions in the box on how to clean and install the oven . Terrible and a shame that they did not include directions on how to use the product!!!!! Had to spend hours on the internet and calling customer support for help..

    Terrible quality, second one I had delivered and it’s still not good. Not used yet and the rubber around the inside frame in the oven is off already. Microwave door panel glass is not fitted properly. I use to love Kichen Aid products. Will not buy anymore.

    BB sold this oven to me from 2016

    Had oven/micro combo installed. Using the microwave sounded like a jet engine so we called whirlpool (parent company) for warranty help. They asked if the item was a floor sample because it was from 2016. I said that I had purchased from Best Buy a week or so earlier (2/2019). I was going to have to jump through hoops for service. Called Best buy and they are bringing another one out but gave no assurances that I won't be as old as the other.

    The gap between oven door and panel was misaligned. They sent out a technician and he kept explaining how the problem cannot be fixed. What a waste of premium money on this appliance. I have had issues with Kitchen Aid refrigerator as well. It broke in 4 weeks from purchase date.

    BEST BUY SELLS FAULTY APPLIANCES. We purchased this very expensive wall oven on October 6, 2020 and had to have a repair person out on December 1, 2020 because the microwave stopped working. The parts needed for the repair will not be available for 2 months due to Covid delays. Best Buy refuses to exchange this faulty expensive appliance. Do not spend your money at Best Buy, they will sell you garbage.

    Brand new install and we already are experiencing a problem with the digital displays. The circuit board is kind of problematic and setting the timer takes 2-3 tries, as well as starting the upper microwave starting is another issue!!!

    Oven cooling fan wistles and continunes for a long time after oven is turned off. Looks great but drives me crazy. This is not a cheep appliance. Shame on you Kitchen Aid. Unfortunately our bill took so long after purchase that we can not return it.

    Scratch on new oven

    Oven cane with a scratch and we didnt know untill hauling it up two flights of stairs and then u boxing it! Now its gotta be dragged back down and swapped out major pain in butt this should be caught by QC before boxing it up!!

    Installation was included in the price but it was just dumped in my garage. I had to get help to bring it into the house and install it. There was no compensation from Best Buy.
